The Social Growth Center is an exceptional office. The vibe and the ambiance here makes you feel relaxed, calm and welcome the second you walk in. Visiting with Dr. Lucy Vo you leave feeling even better. She is one of a kind and does not at all come off as someone just asking questions. She is relatable, she is personable and someone you can tell truly cares and believe in what it is she speaks. It's truly to help You as a person and individual. Her staff is amazing, all of them seem to be an extension of each other, they all care about each person they come into contact with, including each other! Dr. Vo is not only extremely compassionate but she is also very knowledgeable. She is culturally sensitive which helps to build rapport and better dialogue with clients. I didn't know what to expect, but i was looking for a coach to deal with my public speaking anxiety. I'm deathly afraid of speaking in front of people. . I don't know what it is about it. Â Maybe in my head everyone is so judgemental.. Anyways, Dr. Vo helped calmed my nerves and taught me steps to overcome my fears.After looking more into her programs it seems like she specialize with people who have social disorders... But this doesn't mean she can't help you if you don't have mental/social disorders. If you're feeling down or feel like you have anxiety she can help. I recall she mentioned she has groups sessions to help people learn how to interact and interject themselves with people naturally. The moment I walked into her office I felt really comfortable.
