Here at AvenueHouse I provide a safe confidental space for people to recieve care and support when working with difficult issues, eg. depression
anxiety, grief, and anger. I specialise in adoption and adoptees, and learning disability. Zoom sessions also available.

What do you love most about your job?
There is something special about the therapeutic relationship. The fact that a person is willing to share and trust me to help them work with their issues is both an honor and humbling.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to give back, to be of service, I took early retirement and went back to college. Studying psychotherapy has been so benifical to my own life that I felt i could be of assistance to others.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am Canadian and have lived in Ireland for 40yrs. I am older and well traveled my life experiences and insights give me a good grounding an empathetic understanding which helps me be a compassionate listener.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes I can use Zoom or Whatsapp for sessions. I find this gives greater flexiblity to clients regarding their availablity for therapy sessions.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
At present I only use Zoom meetings. However when I resume 1 to 1 sessions I have social distancing in place and hand sanitizers also.
