I would hope to right what I think is an unjust negative review that has been left here. Recently our tenants gave early notice and, as an end of tenancy clean had been carried out before they moved in, it became their responsibility to carry out the same end of tenancy clean, leaving it the way they found it for the next tenant.
Seems fair and is part of the lease they signed. We suggested Snow White Cleaners (SWC) as they had carried out the previous clean. SWC duly cleaned the flat and an argument between the tenant and SWC ensued as to the quality of the clean. Hence the poor review. We were disappointed as landlords and ended up having to substantially clean the flat ourselves to bring it to standard. What we have since found out was that it wasn’t an end of tenancy clean that the tenants requested but a four hour one off clean which is about a quarter of the cost. It seems to me that SWC have taken an unfair bashing for having carried out what the tenant asked for but not what should have been requested which was the ‘end of tenancy clean’.
The further problem for us now is that we cannot prove an end of tenancy clean for the new tenants and they will therefore have no responsibility to carry one out when they leave and so the cycle is broken. To my mind, SWC clearly did not the deserve the one star review from the tenant and the other random people that I would imagine are their friends. It was cost cutting by the tenant and, seeing it as a small business owner myself, a mean thing to do to what seems a decent business.

Booked a deep clean of my newly purchased house, which was DISGUSTING, and was really pleased with the results. A really thorough clean, they had even fished rubbish out from behind radiators and cleaned the cobwebs from the ceiling which I find many cleaners miss. The bathroom, oven and fridge had been in really poor condition but are now clean and ready to use. The cleaners were lovely people and Joana in the office was very friendly and so helpful. I got a reasonable quote which did not change even though the job was such a big one. I would certainly recommend this company if you are looking for a thorough job to be done, and would definitely use them again. In fact I’m already planning to book them to clean my guttering.
