Unprofessional and amateur photographers.
We hired them after multiple calls from Luis insisting they have professional food photographers!
We explained on the phone prior to booking the lighting needed, standard for food photography. However, on the day the photographer Max turned up with only a flashlight for his camera. This doesn’t work for food shoots as there will be glare issues as there were with the photos that were sent.
After Max stopped responding and deleted our number on Whatsapp, we spoke to Luis and he said it would be sorted. We then got an email after a delay from his colleague saying there would be a charge for fixing these photos.

We now need to employ another contractor to fix these photos. We also have not received RAW format which wasn’t sent.
We have been chasing them for 2 weeks, they really are unprofessional and clueless about photography!

I am writing this review with regards to my Snappr photo shoot with Snappr photographer Elizaveta. To say the least, it was a horrible experience, where I believe I was dishonestly taken advantage of and forced to pay a fabricated fee by this mediocre photographer. I would absolutely NOT recommend using Snappr and especially NOT booking this photographer. Moreover, I reached out to Snappr Customer Service without any attempt to fix this disastrous situation and photo shoot.

This is my story...

I booked Elizaveta for Snappr's 4-hour photo shoot package for more than $550, which per Snappr's website includes all photos taken within that time.

In planning for the day, I had attempted to communicate through the Snappr platform with the photographer, Elizaveta, but she insisted on communicating through offline text messages. As such, through text we agreed to speak on the phone the day before about expectations for our shoot the next day - which would be a 4 hour photo shoot of my daughter’s first communion at the church, at a park on the way to our reception, and our reception itself, which she confirmed sounded good and would not be a problem.

Much to my surprise, on the next day (the morning of my daughter’s communion) about 90 minutes before the agreed upon 930am start time for the shoot we had agreed to the night before, I received a text message from Elizaveta outside of the Snapr platform that she was now demanding an additional $200 fee to do the shoot, that we had agree to day prior. She was demanding this payment because she invented a Snappr policy limiting any shoot to 25 photos per hour, and that she thought my shoot could be greater than this amount.

In the texts, Elizaveta went on and on about an imaginary Snappr photo limit policy, for which she was not able to provide proof of, despite my repeated request(s) for it. Since she was now making me late for my daughter’s event, I asked her to discuss the fee at the venue after when pressed she could not present the policy within Snappr that she was quoting. But she made it clear that she would not show up at the shoot – which was now starting in less than 90 minutes - unless she was paid now. Mind you, most of this conversation took place on text, until I, for my consumer protection, forced it back onto the Snappr platform.

Under duress, I only paid the additional $200 fabricated fee at this point of despair (which I paid in protest) noting in the Snappr conversation, that it was important to me to get the photos of my daughter's Communion day and is the ONLY reason for payment, and NOT because under any agreement with the photographer about her made-up policy, and in FULL DISAGREEMENT to the imaginary photo policy behind it from Elizaveta.

After paying Elizaveta's fabricated incremental fee, the photographer did show up for a shoot which itself was subpar and well below the quality that I had experienced with other photographers (Snappr and independent). Elizaveta showed up 15 minutes late for our 930am start time and had to be implored many times throughout the shoot, to actively take pictures as events were happening. Additionally, she repeatedly tried to ask me to leave shoot locations early, such as a park, which I had paid for transportation for all of us to get to and even subsequently requested to leave our event reception 15 minutes early. Moreover, at the reception itself, she took ONLY ONE picture of my immediate family all together, in which my son’s eyes were clearly closed, where she did not bother to check her camera, and lost a key family memory with her careless and lackluster photography skills, resulting in that moment being lost forever.

Overall, it was a disappointing shoot, to say the least, made significantly worse due to the obvious fabricated fee, which made a $550 shoot, a $750 shoot, which I NEVER would have knowingly booked with Snappr or this photographer.

I caution those interested in Snappr and / or Elizaveta to not make the same mistake I did and PASS on both. More...

Mislead. Lied. No Follow up. Not legit. I'm a father and a Military veteran. Booked for College Graduation photos as a single father for my Daughter and received confirmation. Minutes later the photographer sends me a message that Snappr made a mistake and she's not available. Kristine Joy Cunanan 415.993.8207 has lied and mislead me every step of the way, I have email stating "I promise I will personally handle this". Then I'm passed off to "Mae" in customer support only to be told by "Joy" that it sat for 4 days and was going to escalate it. Then I was told "I have someone else in mind and will get this confirmed and can I have until 05/04/23 at noon to get back to you". I agreed. Yesterday came and no follow up. Have now been attempting to reach out and get my money back and I receive an email "It's been escalated and supervisor will get back to you". This is all truly one big scam. Have now been leaving messages with no call back. Let me ask you, how terrible of a human or company are you when you take a single fathers money for his daughters college graduation and scam him. Because they took my money and will not respond back I can't even book for my daughter with some one else. Absolutly horrible humans. Additionally, I work for one of the major Corporations listed on their site as a client, I've checked across departments and we've not used them and they are not a vendor. Legal has been notified. Don't fall for this online rip-off!!!!!!!!! Run away!!!!!!!!!

My photographer canceled the booking and the company would not refund it. When I searched for photographers on the Snappr website, they called my number and sent emails every day to make a booking. When they called me and introduced what services they have, they didn't talk about their cancellation policy. I told them I don't like other photographers and it was not my fault. They just said, "If you intend to cancel the shoot, you can use the credits for a different shoot; however, no refunds will be given.". I've never seen this type of cancellation policy. More...

The photographer never showed up - customer service still not responding to my refund request. I think this service is a fraud - avoid using at all costs.

I had a horrible experience with Snappr. The photographer cancelled three hours before the event. This is not a reliable company.

Our photographer never show up, we've made the booking for our wedding. We triad to call but nothing.

These poor photographers are underpaid and there is zero customer support. What a horrible company that is destroying the industry of professional photography. I booked one of their Snapprs for a family shoot and a student showed up with a very basic camera and proceeded to have zero idea how to pose people or conduct a professional shoot... and the images were not much better than my 12 year old has done with an old iPhone... save your money... you get what you pay for. On 3/12/21, I paid Snappr for 2 hours of photography service, to be completed on 4/17/21. However, the day before the shoot, the photographer said she was busy on 4/17/21, and provided one hour of photography service on the next day, on 4/18/21. On 4/26/21, I received the photos from the Snappr Photographer. I was not happy with the qualities of the photos and followed up with the Photographer on 4/26/21, 4/27/21, and 6/25/21 and did not receive any resolution from the Snappr Photographer. On 7/16/21, the Snappr photographer sent me some photos via email. However, upon close examination, the photos looked the same as the original photos and there was not any re-editing done to them.
Due to dissatisfaction with the quality of the photos from the 4/18/21 photoshoot, for which I did not receive a resolution, and the lack of response from the Snappr photographer, I would not want to use Snappr again. Also, I paid for 2 hours of photography service that was scheduled to take place on 4/17/21, but received only one hour of service. I requested a refund for the unused hour and was denied by Snappr.

I suggest you hire a photographer somewhere else unless you are looking for a really bad experience that you won’t forget for a long time. More...

Snappr as a service was easy peasy lemon squeezy to use and to schedule for my daughter's christening. The site is user friendly, allowed me to see the gallery/portfolio of photographers available for my event so I can select someone who has experience with the style that I like, and the experience to book and pay was seamless. Rates and reviews of the photographer are shown making it transparent. As a consumer, I was able to add in details of what I was looking for (i.e. candid photos, artistic photos to use for thank you cards, and a listing of formal photos). Instructions post booking are clear and my photographer, Anthony called me the day before the event to confirm all the details, timing, and location. What was the result? A gallery of photos from my daughter's christening that are pure PERFECTION and received fully edited 2 days after the event! He captured so much of the event, the people, the feels, and even corralled our group of rambunctious family/friends for an awesome group foto. Would I use snappr again? ABSOLUTELY. After shopping around for a newborn photography session, I was appalled to see the prices that were being charged. Then I discovered Snappr and was delighted to see a large roster of photographers with fantastic portfolios. Sure, they did not have swanky studios, but at a fraction of the price, plus the convenience of them coming to your house, this was unbeatable. We had a fantastic photographer, Joseph, who was a baby whisperer! Our newborn can be pretty shifty, but he had her extremely calm and cooperative for the whole 90 mins session. I booked Anthony T. through Snappr for a ceremony and networking reception for 150+ people. Anthony was very responsive to my questions and executed everything perfectly. I was a little skeptical at first because I did not see any of his work before, but was blown away by the quality of the photos after I received them a day later. I was recommended Snappr service by a client who had used this service before. We were satisfied with the service. Recommend to talk to someone before booking to make sure it’s what you’re looking for. We weren’t too particular on what shoots we’d like but after getting the pictures give your photographer a list of ideas of what you’d like in specific. I found Snappr to be a really effective way to find a photographer for our event. Not only did it save me quite a bit of time and stress, the pricing was very cost effective too. Fantastic experience & love my photos! Needed a new Linkedin headshot. The ease of use and price value is unparalleled: Booked on a Tuesday for a Friday morning shoot. Tracey my photographer followed up the same day that I booked (choosing a photographer is also very easy). Day of the shoot, Tracey was on-time and had everything she needed to maximize the 1 hour we had together: We squeezed in 3 outfit changes and 4 backgrounds. I had such an above and beyond experience with Snappr for photographing my engagement party. There was immediate communication regarding booking and pricing and photographer portfolio options to choose from. I chose Chris because I could see he had amazing fashion and event photography in his portfolio. Once I booked, Chris contacted me immediately and was thorough in understanding what photos I needed for my party. He arrived on time and proceeded to capture all the best moments of the night. I was hesitant at first and unsure of what to expect. I'm so glad I went with them and specially so happy with our photographer Christopher. He was so knowledgable and professional. We received the photos in one day and were so happy with the end result. The only thing that could have been improved on was that when I called to have the time changed to one hour earlier, the customer rep confirmed over the phone but didn't send me an updated confirmation to me nor the photographer. I booked a photographer named Mike through Snappr for a Baby shower event. And i should say their service was extra-ordinary right from the booking to delivering the photos. 1. They helped me through the booking process and also answered all my questions regarding the shoot timing, rates etc..2. The photographer Mike was very good and understandable. He was running a little late, so he made sure he spend more time to compensate that and informed us prior about it. Really appreciate that effort. 3. Mike took lot of candid photos from my event which was very cherish-able.4. The quality of the photos was top notch. I went through Snappr because I needed a photographer for my babyshower and I wasn’t sure what to expect because it was my first time using snappr but I was pleasantly surprised.
