This is my favorite gym I’ve been a member of! The gym is exceptionally clean, there is plenty of equipment for everyone’s needs, huge extra room for boxing, classes, mat work etc. and it’s a friendly atmosphere. The gym owner has always had our best interest. He looks out for all of his members to have a great environment and we all love that about him. There are all ages of members and it’s so easy to get in and out for parking. I’m here 4-5 days a week so I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t the best! More...

Solid gym experience. I've been to quite a few gyms in the GTA, and this place is definitely one of the top spots for me. Friendly staff, clean and varied equipment, and a chill vibe community . One thing that stood out to me was the friendlyness of the staff. One of the trainers was very polite and offered tips on some of the exercises I was working on. At no point did I ever feel pressured to sign up or buy anything from them. Just genuine people trying to make sure everyone succeeds. It’s clean. The machines work. People are generally respectful of boundaries and social cues (which I’ve seen be an issue at other gyms). Management is responsive and friendly. Even during what I assume are peak hours, there’s enough space to get what done what you need to get done. It’s super easy to hit up on the way home from work for those who commute on the Causeway and it being near a grocery store let’s me run errands when I have to. I've been a member at Snap since I was 16 (well actually at 15 I would sneak in because I wasn't old enough, but shhh don't tell anyone). Point being, I've stayed a member for a decade because this place is great. In high school I went to their Elm Grove location and when I moved downtown I started coming to this one.It's genuinely always clean, the space is very open, and they have literally all the machines, free weights, and other muscle building options you could need. I most often use their treadmills, stair master, TRX straps, and dumbbells, but when I feel like switching it up I use the machines, which are very well kept. Everything operates smoothly and oiled, if that makes sense. I do *wish* they had another stair stepper machine (my fave), but hey a girl can dream. This location has been continually making updates since I've been coming here. New paint job, new and additional equipment, added heart rate monitoring (if you wish to use it), and just in general moving things around to figure out how to best keep the space open. It's actually pretty rare I feel on top of anyone else working out, thankfully!They have 24 hour access which is very ideal - you simply need to key in and out. There's generally an employee there during regular work-day hours incase you need anything or would like to inquire about personal training, which they offer as well. Extra points for free wifi and good radio stations always playing over the speaker system. If you're looking for a new and hassle-free spot to sweat, I'd definitely recommend this spot. More...

I love snap Fitness, the Golden Valley location specifically. Great people, great trainers, great management. I used to work out at lifetime, and La, and while those franchises may have more “amenities” they just weren’t for me.

My husband and I joined Snap at the beginning of the year, and it has hands down been the BEST gym experience. I've done so many different types of workouts and classes, and Snap's Kosama classes have been my favorite by far. Andrew and Wendy are so invested in their clients, always going above and beyond to make our workouts the best they can be.
