I am the police chief here and have been a member since the opening of Snap Fitness in Sylacauga. I have seen owners come and go but I and other officers have been loyal to Snap for the long haul. I don't see myself going to the other gym in town unless I have no other choice. I hope that day never comes, but our gym has really started down over the last few months. There jave been cardio machines, popular machines, removed rather than repaired. We have been told many times that if we stay the course we will be rewarded with new equipment or old equipment repaired. To this date I have not seen either. Right now we don't even have television to watch while on cardio equipment. With these few bumps in the road I still recommend My gym, Snap Fitness, over the other gym in our town. My officers and I are hanging in there hoping that the day comes that we get some updated equipment and some of the broken equipment repaired. More...

It’s clean. The machines work. People are generally respectful of boundaries and social cues (which I’ve seen be an issue at other gyms). Management is responsive and friendly. Even during what I assume are peak hours, there’s enough space to get what done what you need to get done. It’s super easy to hit up on the way home from work for those who commute on the Causeway and it being near a grocery store let’s me run errands when I have to. In my opinion it is the best gym near Cronulla station. It is working up to midnight. Equipment is pretty new and enough to handle number of people training.
