**Updated review without the typos**. I attended the reactivity course lead by Saara after my young dog regressed post castration. There were 3 dogs on the course and we were each given different steps to follow. I saw some improvement over the course of the 6 weeks and more importantly I regained my confidence in training and walking my dog. Saara was supportive and the least money grabbing dog trainer I've ever worked with (my fourth trainer btw). Since the course, I've been on pack walks with Saara and her rescues as well as with other clients. I've continued training on my own and I've signed up for a second course with her and I'm excited to attend. I get so much out of it and my dog's reactivity is improving everyweek a little. I'm now confident that we'll get a complete handle on his reactivity and just that feeling alone is priceless. There is light at the end of the tunnel, you just need to put in the work once you find what works for your particular dog. Keep an open mind and try what she suggests. More...

I had recently adopted an 8 month old rescue from Romania after my collie passed away in December. This new puppy has been nothing but a handful, and Saara has been excellent with helping him overcome his anxiety. She was so patient and took extra time where he (and myself) really needed it. I now enjoy taking him out for a walk and we are excited to continue working with Saara on his obedience. Would definitely recommend! More...

I contacted Saara when my Border Collie suddenly became reactive to other dogs on a walk. Saara helped me overcome my own fears and in return my dogs life has changed for the better. You did not give me four sessions - an outright lie. I have contacted you (to inform you I am going through the small claims court to get my money returned) and Bark (who cant do very much). As I said, you had my money for a 3 session package and after one session, made a misleading film claiming progress for your Facebook page (now removed). Then, at the next session, even though I had done all the walk training, diet change and ending a use of treats, you accused me of not having done enough in a bullying volatile way - leaving my house after 20 minutes of a 2 hour session never delivered. You do not have the right to take money for a service you then refuse to deliver. It is theft. You stole from me and are a bully. ( I have to give a star to post this but would give zero). More...

Do not use Saara Messari. I paid for a three session package at £400. First lesson she explained a lot and did a little filming on her phone. Second session, she turned up and accused me of not doing the homework enough to make progress - even though I changed my dog's diet, bought him a crate, started running in the mornings with him, stopped all treats etc. She basically bullied me for 20mins , exploded at me claiming my dog would end up euthanized and left shouting 'Good Luck!' She kept my £400 and though I texted her for a refund for the outstanding sessions she did not respond. I have reported her to Bark... I went on Facebook and she had used films of me walking my dog with a caption of the 'progress' she had made with us!! Only after I left a negative review on FB did she finally say she would refund my money, but I'm still waiting. She is not professional, not honest. Do not trust her. Do your research and do not make my mistake. She must have done this before and her other films on Facebook are probably false edits. Repeat she is volatile and not honest. More...

I had emailed/text a few people on bark most ignored me and 2 people got back to me one who told me there was no hope for my nearly 13 year old Jack Russell.
Guess what there is hope!! Saara was amazing can not believe she turned my dogs attitude around so fast im am extremely impressed and i would highly recommend her.

SMk9s hasn’t been one of the best dog training companies my dog has seen. Their head trainer Saara made myself and my dog feel at ease straight away. What do you love most about your job?
- Educating owners on dog psychology (very important!)
- Training owners on how to manage and correct their dogs bad behaviours
What inspired you to start your own business?
After many years spent in the Veterinary industry, I just couldn't understand why so many dogs had behaviour issues! I then went on to study canine behaviour and pyschology, which lead me to wanting to help every dog owner out there!
I have rescue dogs myself, and training my first dog (who had severe aggression), was one of the hardest things I've ever done! But I persisted, and he is now very sociable and loving.
Due to the fact that I have had to train naughty behaviours out of both my dogs, I am able to empathise with other dog owners when helping them to train their dog.
Why should our clients choose you?
Clients should choose me because I have in-depth knowledge and understanding of dog psychology, which enables me to assess the root cause for bad behaviours that any dog is displaying. Once that is determined, I am then able to train the owners (yes, the owners!) on how to resolve these behaviour issues.
I have a calm and gentle approach, both with dogs and owners, and I have over 13 years experience of working with dogs!
