I can second the fact of trusting builders. Smith & Sullivan have been exceptional. Top bunch of lads, arrived and found my leak within 10mins! I've had 2 other roofers out who fixed wrong things and my leak persisted i called smith&sullivan and they sent somebody out the same day! Kieran found my leak explained why this was the cause and fixed it quickly. It snowed last night and for the first time in a year and half my loft room is not soaking wet and freezing cold! How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Take a quick look inside the attic to determine the amount of available space, if you can see lots of roof support timbers then you should call an expert.
If the space is fairly open you will aleady be able to visualise the conversion, at this stage you will want to concider access to your new loft room.
If you have a large landing area a new opening can be created with a full staircase to give the feel of a whole new floor in your home, however if you are stuck for space don't panic we can widen your hatch opening and install a loft ladder.
