I took my 10 day old son to Maryum’s in-house studio for newborn photoshoot. Her studio is cute, professional, and relaxing. Additionally, it has everything from a changing table to a comfortable couch to sit on. Her demeanor when handling my baby was incredible. She really is an expert at what she does. I 1000% would recommend getting your newborn pictures done with Maryum at Smile Portraits. We did a session with her for our 2 month old and we love how each portrait turned out. We just had newborn photos done at the brand new newborn studio that they just opened up outside of the mall. My family needed to some updated photos over this past Christmas holiday and while walking through the Mall at Columbia found this small and very personable photography studio. The 2 ladies running the shop were extremely friendly. We setup an appointment for the following Saturday evening. We arrived a few minutes early and were taken in on our scheduled time. The photographer did a great job and worked very well with my kids. We came back a short while later to view the photos and found that there was a clothing error with a few of the photos. They allowed us to the store, change some of our clothing and come back for a second shoot to change out the problem pictures. They even stayed open a little late to make sure that we were happy with the pictures. Fantastic service all the way around. If I had to give the place a con, and I am nitpicking here at best, is that there are no prints with the packages. This means that you are responsible for printing out your own pictures, again this would be nitpicking at best seeing how most people have a photo printer or a CVS, etc, near them to print pictures. You do get a link with your pictures and they are yours to freely download and use in any manner that you like with no copyright or other odd restrictions. Personally, I prefer this better. To conclude, I would highly recommend SMILE portraits to anyone looking for professionally taken pictures for yourself and your family. More...

Nicest photographers you'll ever meet. I went there today for my Sweet 16 photoshoot and not only did they accept me on an hour notice but also helped me with my wardrobe malfunctions and supplied me with beautiful props that I didn't even intend to use. very nice.
