How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
'If you ain't assessin' you're just guessin'!' It's down to finding out what drives you, how you tick and then harnessing that in the right direction. Some people respond better to being pushed, some pulled, some like their hand held. Clients always reveal how the train them best, it's important the trainer listens and then sticks to the plan. Trainers normally have their 'modus operandi' but it's important to be flexible and have many tools in the box.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Habitual enjoyment of healthful nourishment and activities. That is if the body of your dreams is a lean and relatively muscular one! "Surround yourself with people on the same mission as you". It goes for everything in life.
What do you love most about your job?
Sharing positive energy in helping clients be healthier and happier. I'm called Smile Fitness for a reason.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My gym closed down when David Lloyd opened, I was successful there so I carried on on my own and Smile Fitness was born.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm the right trainer for people who need to free their bodies from the pains of modern life; sitting too much, too much sugar or poorly devised exercise routines. I like to bring people up to recreational exerciser or sports enthusiast. Those people should choose me, so long as we gel, there is no one best trainer for all people, it's like finding a partner. For those people, I'm the best!
