Describe your creative process.
From an initial client briefing, I provide creative pdf concepts (with changes as necessary) and finally the finished digital artworks ready for print or web.
Clients are kept involved throughout the design process, as much or as little as they need. I'm available to chat through any projects as necessary, along with various pdf proof stages until approval of a design/project is met.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Clients are to provide a detailed written brief (via email/Word.doc etc) outlining specific requirements, along with any attached imagery, written content etc.
Lifestyle images can be sourced if none are available. Assistance with written content can also be provided if necessary, either by myself, or outsourcing a copywriter.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the diverse nature of my design work - clients are all different from one another, so my USP would be the ability to provide a professional design service to suit any type of business. Happy days!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I guess initially being thrown in at the deep-end to start up my own business over 10 years ago, then working my socks off to get and keep afloat has enabled me to achieve a greater work/life balance than I previously had, and has kept me inspired to keep doing what I love.
