Recently attended a seminar run by Isabella where she covered Dog on Dog Aggression. Isabella is a highly knowledgable and experienced professional dog trainer using non-aversive training techniques. Without doubt, the 'go-to' person for canine aggression cases in the Biggleswade area. More...

I love the fact that Isabella's classes are not just about training the dogs but training and educating the owners too! Her expertise doesn't stop when you leave the training sessions either. If you need any help or advice, she is always there to help. (And my dog loves her!) Highly recommended! More...

I have taken both my dogs plus a couple of my fosters to Isabella for training and advice. Her sessions and support have enabled all dogs concerned to make real progress with their behaviour and the results have been great. I will continue to use Smart Dog Training and highly recommend her whenever I get the chance. More...

I recently attended reactive rovers classes and cannot thank Kathy and Isabella enough. Yesterday I braved taking my dog to Thetford Forest. After his initial over excitement, he calmed quickly and must have met 10+ dogs with really nice/polite lead greeting!! 9 times out of 10 he doesn’t react to bikes or men going past us on our walks now which is a massive achievement. I have learnt to read him and can now react quicker in potentially stressful situations. I can calm him and help him reduce his stress. All because of the techniques I have learnt at reactive rovers. Thanks so much guys, we had such a lovely family day yesterday without a stressed out unhappy dog! More...

Q&As

I love new challenges, meeting new people and their dogs and leaving both the dogs and their owners happy!

I was inspired to start dog training by wanting to help one of my first dogs, who had aggression issues. I wanted to be able to help dogs and their owners.

Dog Trainers can be largely unregulated. By becoming a member of the APDT I have had to pass stringent tests. I pride myself in keeping up to date with modern and positive approaches to both dog training and people. I am prepared and trained to work with dogs with a large variety of issues.
