I have had surveys done by other companies but found this company to be the best professionally and financially. The work was done to a very high standard. The surveyor I dealt with was very friendly and trustworthy as were the workers that carried out the work. They also clean up exceptionally well after the work is completed. I had organized a few different companies to come along and survey my home which had severe dry rot and other damp issues. All but SM building preservation knew nothing about anything relating to my rot outbreak. The surveyor was a professional specialist structural and building surveyor who is a member of the Institute of specialist surveyors and engineers. This put my mind at ease and I knew then and there that this company was the one that would take care of my home and rectify all the issues I had. I received a quote within 2 days and I had arranged for them to start the work as soon as they could as I had my grandchildren living with me at the time. The workmen that came along were very professional and had done everything for me from moving furniture to even the smallest of items and making sure everything was clean and tidy.
