To be honest we went here as currently avoiding Wetherspoons. It is a great place, nicely decorated, with wide food menu at a reasonable price. I had the super food salad and was impressed with this. This is part of the large national chain, and it took over a pub which had had problems in the past. It now looks better and offers great value drinks and food. I've been for cocktails on a Friday night and meals on a Sunday. Always happy with the service. Just missed out on having 5 stars because they had no decaffeinated tea or coffee available yesterday afternoon. I ended up with a glass of water instead! More...

I have eaten here quite a few times and have never been disappointed. Wine down Wednesday is great, the Malbec is very nice. Lots of deals throughout the week. Great staff, polite always helpful.
