Sloopy’s has been a Manhattan Beach local favorite for over 40 years. Our goal is to bring you delicious ingredients, sustainable fisheries, and all natural meats. All of our food is cooked to order with great love and care! We offer a variety of dishes including breakfast, burgers, gourmet salads and sandwiches, dinner plates and our signature milkshakes.

What a fantastic little gem! The food was delicious, the prices were reasonable, the service was on par, and the atmosphere was quaint and comfortable (they even had live music the night we came). Very cool place. My daughter is vegetarian, and I'm not, but this place has a menu that works for both of us. I enjoyed the fish tacos and shoestring fries that I had, and she liked her sandwich and salad. Service was excellent, my food was hot when it landed on the table. The decor is very cozy in a retro sort of way, lots of wood and plants, and even though it was August it was a cool evening and so after it got dark outside they turned on the gas fire pit. I grew up in Manhattan Beach, and this is one of my favorite spots of all time (in this town, and anywhere). Why? It's the indoor PLANTS and relaxing patio-seating that soothe me and make me happy every time I visit.
The delicious peanut-butter and chocolate shakes are an added attraction. I like that you can also get a beer here, if you're hankering for one. Parking is the tough part... but you know what? Do like everyone else, and circle circle circle until you get lucky. Shouldn't take too long.
I like the lack of pretension here - the "food-in-a-basket" no-nonsense-ness. If you're in the area, and looking for a low key restaurant to check out, look no further - TRUST ME - the ambience alone is worth the visit. [Food is good as well].

Our Kale Salad and Chinese Chicken Salad are our top sellers and great options for easy catering on -the-go. Customers also love our Cajun Chicken sandwich, Fried Zucchini and Mahi Tacos!

Each client has a vision for their event and we are keen on providing a menu that will help complete their vision! We can tailor our large selection of fresh options to best fit the needs of the clients next soiree.
What do you love most about your job?
We love seeing and hearing how customers enjoy our food! Food has become an experience and we are apt in making sure they experience the fresh, local flavors we have worked hard to curate for the past 40+ years here at Sloopys. Hearing guest's feedback has become one of the most rewarding aspects.
What inspired you to start your own business?
To bring fresh, local food to the neighborhood and create a sense of community!

We are a small, local business with roots in our community. Our customers are neighbors, families, friends and more who return week after week to our amazing staff who greets them by name and remembers their favorite dishes. We hope to bring our family ambience and fresh food to their next event.
