I consider myself lucky to have a friend who recommended Sleek Beauty Studio. Even though they are a well-rounded beauty studio, nothing impresses me more than them providing gel tips under their nail services. I’ve had Elizabeth do a full set acrylic on me before in the past and recently came in for lash extensions by Flossy the last few months. Flossy is really careful and attentive and walked me through the process of my lashes. I’ve been very happy with the outcome and now I swear by them. She’s very friendly and easy going. Most recently I came in for a pedicure for my first time with Elizabeth and it was one of the BEST pedicures I honestly have ever had! I work on my feet all day, 6 days a week and no one has ever gotten my feet so soft. I really think that the process is worthwhile. I was dedicated a full hour where as even getting “deluxe” pedicures elsewhere I feel very rushed and my feet always feel dry and they’re very rough so I feel care and quality ingredients are used here. Elizabeth also took her time on my acrylic no polish full set even taking care of my cuticles. I’ve never had any nail tech elsewhere do that and I’ve been doing my nail extensions for the last 15 years. Additionally, Mary greeted me and helped me choose colors as well as went out of her way to set me up with one of the colorists as online many were totally booked. Mary's salon is amazing. I started coming a few years ago to get my brows done and since then will NOT let anyone else but Mary or sleek beauty studio touch them. She is not only amazing with brows but also makeup and lashes! She has a team of amazing hair stylist and nail artist as well. I love all of the staff! They are amazing. Not to mention her salon is so beautiful and just got renovated! I have gotten everything done there, from brows, to lashes, hair and nails! I would recommend Mary as one stop shop for all beauty needs, makeup, hair (of call kinds I have crazy thick curly hair), lashes, brows and nails. I had an eyebrow girl but then she started getting too busy and it was hours of waiting time since she didn’t do appointments. Started going to the hip (bc it was recommended, will NOT be returning there), I tried each girl in the salon and each ruined them & didn’t my eyebrows how they wanted to. I have thick full eyebrows.. So time for a new eyebrow person, right? I let my eyebrows grow for a month & several ppl go to this salon & several ppl recommended Mary (the owner) to me. She’s a busy woman and I was finally able to get an apt with her. Needless to say SHE SLAYED MY EYEBROWS!!!! I’ve been getting my eyebrows done by Mary since 2014. I always have a great experience and leave her chair happy. I finally got up the courage to do microblading for my stubborn bald spots that just wouldn’t grow. My 1st session I was so nervous, Mary answered all the questions I had. Once I looked in the mirror....omg! I was in love with the way my brows came out. After years and years of struggling with trying to evenly fill them in with powder, they were perfect! Mary was amazing getting all of my bridesmaids ready for our wedding! She did such a great job pleasing everyone and making sure they looked beautiful. My only two complaints would be that I did not receive a confirmation phone call I actually had to call them to confirm details. Also, as a bride I felt a little rushed with my hair. I first learned of Sleek from a friend who got her eyebrows done by Mary and I was in aw at how perfect they were. Upon seeing Mary and being greeted by her when I arrived, I knew she was going to take care of me. I found her on Instagram searching for eyebrow artists in Chicago and I could not be happier that I booked her! I've never felt more confident about my eyebrows and will continue to see her. I also had them tinted and was happy with the results, clean and full brows.
