I used Slater Heelis to finalise a financial settlement and I can't recommend them enough. Despite having to deal with evasive, muddled counterparts at the legal firm involved on the other side in my dispute, David Jones was a model of patience and persistence. Some solicitors will charge for every call or email they field from you, but he put up with my constant badgering without extra charge, and saw my settlement through against an increasingly tight deadline. I had the pleasure of dealing with Lucy Flynn at Slater Heelis in relation to a employment matter.Lucy Flynn was very supportive, empathetic honest and fair in what was a very stressful situation. Camilla Burton-Baddeley dealt with my case. This particular case, although initially fairly straight forward, became complex and drawn out due to complications and delays beteen the parties involved. Camilla dealt with the issues in a professional manner and showed a good degree of patience where others may have been very frustrated. I am satisfied with the outcome despite it taking longer than expected.There is still one matter outstanding with Slater Heelis, my case and the Ombudsman but this is not in Camilla's hands; I would expect Slater Heelis to assist in expediting the outcome. I would highly recommend Mark Heptinstall as he is without doubt the most amazing solicitor. I had used different legal representation during my divorce 2 years earlier which had been acrimonious. Each step was frustrated by my ex which added to the stress, duration and cost. I was never really comfortable with the advise I was receiving but stuck with it. I now know that much of this could have been avoided by the right legal representation. On recommendation I approached Mark to complete the sale of the Former Matrimonial Home which was again being frustrated by my ex.
