My wife and I are from Tennessee and booked Victor through the Internet after seeing some of his work. It was our first anniversary and we wanted to take some pictures around NYC to celebrate. For me, a truly involved mom, I look to capture every memorable moment in my children's lives. After spending a tremendous amount of time planning the details of my daughter's Princess themed party, this was surely an event I wanted her to remember. I was referred to Victor through a friend who had used him and was familiar with his work. At first, I was a bit skeptical because with photography, timing is extremely important. During my initial call with Victor, he was professional, patient and seemed highly engaged. He listened attentively to my expectations. He asked questions to ensure we were on the same page. He was accomodating and even made recommendations. He followed-up with me via email regarding the details of the event and deliverables. I decided to hire Victor and I am so very happy I did. He arrived prior to the start of the event. His setup was quick and unnnoticeable. He was never in the way of the flow of the event. He was professional. Victor Chu is an AMAZING photographer! We hosted a ball for the LL.M. students at NYU and were in need of a photographer. We looked all around, searched the web and called NUMEROUS people (who were all overpriced) . We came across Victor Chu Photography and gave him a call. Needless to say, he was VERY PROFESSIONAL and very understanding of our budget. He was willing to compromise and even showed up early to take pictures of our set up. He's very friendly, approachable and just an EXCELLENT PHOTOGRAPHER. He took pictures throughout the night. Posed pictures. Candid pictures. Pictures of the decor. You name it. When he sent me the link to the pictures, I was FLOORED!! They were ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! Victor Chu far exceeded anything I could have ever expected. Not only was I BEYOND IMPRESSED, but so was EVERYONE ELSE.
