Describe your creative process.
I discuss every project with you, I listen, and I ask questions. This way I get a good understanding of you needs, goals, visions, and expectations. Within a discussed timeline I will develop creative and eye-catching design concepts, which work online, in print and everywhere else. Specific details such as how many design concepts, revisions, and terms will be discussed and provided in my proposal.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
It always depends on what I will be designing. For sure I will need some of your time to understand your business/organization, your visions, your goals, and your needs.
What do you love most about your job?
Helping small and mid-size businesses with logo design, branding and marketing is my passion. Each project is custom designed and as unique as the business it is designed for. I love creating distinctive and enduring visual appearances that can make you stand out from the competition
What inspired you to start your own business?
After working in several large design studios in Germany, I wanted to be my own boss and decide with my clients directly, which design concept would be best for their needs. For many years I worked as a freelance graphic designer, in Germany and since 1996 in the US. I founded silviagraphics in Connecticut in 2009, and changed the company name to SKS Graphics with my recent move to California.
