What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Three things make a great photograph. A moment, composition, and light. I work especially hard to know what a subject will do, sometimes even before THEY know they'll do it. It's about anticipating the moment, seeing the most beautiful way to compose it, and setting yourself up with the perfect lighting to to highlights the focal points.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What is your creative vision? Once I know that, the rest falls into place.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that I can meet new people and help them visually tell their story or market their passion for themselves and greater audiences.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Truthfully, the flexibility to be with my kids more. I help others document their milestones and I don't ever want to miss out on any of my own.
