I have an 8 month bernedoodle, Binks. He has a lot of sass and we were not communicating efficiently. It was extremely hard to have guests over when all he wanted to do was jump on everyone and bite their hands. I was embarrassed he wouldn’t listen to me, and my friends and family have several destroyed or ripped clothes from his bad behavior. As time went on, he kept getting bigger and more out of control. It became more difficult on me with the way he treated my family, he ran the house and didn’t listen. I was desperate for help and tried some training classes and at home training, but nothing worked. I am so thankful for Kerry! She came over to see how Binks was and within minutes she had him listening. Kerry had Binks for a 10 day training and this was the best decision I have made for my relationship with Binks. He is now a true gentleman and listens. He still has the same odd ball personality but with manners. We practice 30 minutes a day, 15 min in the morning and 15 min at night, and I am in awe with how great of a dog Binks is now!The hardest part was being away for 10 days, but let me tell you, it is worth it in the long run. I would recommend Sit Means Sit to everyone! Kerry is super personable and you can see her passion and love for dogs! More...

I was torn up thinking I was going to have to get rid of or put my dog to sleep for biting a family member. After doing some research, I was lucky enough to have found Kerry through the Sit Means Sit site. After an almost 2 week stay, My dog is completely different. I always thought he listened to me but after the work Kerry did, I realized he was probably just laughing at me . He is still working on some things but I have to say, I am very happy with the training Kerry did and continues to do with group/1:1. More...

Kerry is AMAZING with dogs and their owners. She is straightforward, positive, and flexible. We were feeling pretty frustrated with our "spirited" golden retriever, but after board & train she is now so pleasant and fun to be around. This training works. Thank you, Kerry!!! More...

Kerry and her staff are awesome! We came to them after adopting Sofi, who had zero impulse control, especially around other dogs. She even bit my mom's dog. After boarding and training with Kerry and her staff, the change in Sofi has been amazing! This morning we attended a group class with several other dogs (and even more dogs walking through the park where class was held) and Sofi was sooo good!! We still have some work to do, but she's come so far. I was a very proud dog mom today. I don't know where we'd be without Kerry. Highly recommend. More...

Kerri and all her staff with Sit Means Sit are amazing at what they do - they all have a gift of helping every need wherever you need it. My dog loves Kerri and her staff so much that when you say their names my dog will go and get her leash and sit by the door ready to go and be with them. It it's her second home. More...

I got a rescue dog or year and a half ago and everybody told me I should give him back. He jumped on people, ate all my furniture and he had aggressive tendencies. A neighbor across the street recommended sit means sit and I called. Where's the best phone call I made. Kerry treated him with loving care and kept him for as long as she thought he needed so he can return a civilized dog. She has been more than wonderful and has help me out by taking him back to her house on emergency occasions and otherwise. Without her he would be looking for a new home. I can't say enough good things about this organization. More...

I heard about Sit Means Sit from a friend and decided to give it a try since nothing was really working with our Pitbull/Boxer mix, Piper. Kerry came out for our consult and I immediately had a feeling she was going to make a difference in our household. Our dog is incredibly hyper and her focus is almost impossible to break when she fixates. Kerry immediately identified what needed to be addressed with Piper and came up with a plan. After the first session, the change in Piper was evident. We boarded Piper with Kerry and her team while I had a baby and got settled back at home and when Piper returned home, she was a whole new dog. I’ve never seen her so calm and well behaved in the 4 years we’ve owned her! We honestly can’t thank Kerry, Patti and their team enough for helping us and our Hyper Piper. If you are looking for knowledgeable trainers who truly love animals and love what they do, I highly recommend calling Kerry. She’s truly incredible. More...

My puppy worked with Kerry and came back a completely different dog. The trainers are willing to spend extensive amounts of time to make sure the dogs come back to their owners with extremely improved behaviors. I would highly recommend Sit Means Sit to anyone. More...

We had such a wonderful experience, we have 1 year old male Great Dane that we had no control over. If he ran away we would have one of our kids lay on the ground, so he would go to them and I would stand in the middle of the street to avoid a car hitting him. We called sit means to sit as recommended by my friend who also used them. We are beyond happy, our whole family walk him including our 7 year old can without being dragged down the street! The best was he got out the front door as I was grabbing something, I called Duke come; he ran back to me right away!! If you are looking for compassionate and passionate dog trainers, this is the company!! They listened to what we needed for our family and tailored his program to our needs!! More...

I would highly recommend Sit Means Sit both Kerry and Bianca truly love what they do every day. I had an 8 month old puppy that was so active that she was turning our house upside down! I sent her to the three week boot camp and Bianca treated our dog like she was her own! Not only did she train her and love her, but when she was sick she took her to the vet and nursed her back to health! Bianca brought Bella home tonight and she is seriously like new dog! Thank you Bianca and Kerry for all that you did for Bella and our family! More...

We were having a terrible time with our 3 year old Lab He would run to the door with the hair standing up on his back barking at everyone that entered (sometimes even me ). I had tried everything even other training facilities, nothing worked. I was just about to get rid of him because I could not take a chance on him attacking one of my friends. I got in touch with Kerry from Sit Means Sit. she came out and did an evaluation on my dog, pick him up 3 days later for a 15 day training session. She brought him back to us and WOW! We now have a very friendly meet you at the door with his tail wagging Lab. Unbelievable the difference. Thank You ! More...
