Kim was so helpful through out the entire process! She helped create a romantic atmosphere and the flowers were beautiful. She was really helpful when it came to personal touches as well. Kim singlehandedly made our wedding look like a literal fairytale. After sitting down with my husband and I and asking the right questions to determine our personalities (and my one photo I pinned on Pinterest), Kim was able to put together our dream wedding. I didn't have to worry about a thing - which was huge in the wedding planning process. Kim did ALL our florals, decorations, rentals, and even made our cake (which was delicious). Review for our catered event with Cordiano:We had a large surprise party for my mom at Cordiano yesterday, 10/27/19. We had about 40 people and were given the lower terrace for our group. I can't say thank you enough to the staff at Cordiano who gave us such a great day! The service was top notch--the manager on duty was wonderful and the rest of the staff were friendly and truly cared that we enjoyed our time there. Also worth noting was how delicious the food was! I've had their pizza's many times, but for this event, we needed to use their catering options and pizza was not included. So we had the baked ziti, bread sticks, salad and tiramisu. Everything was so good! Everyone commented on how tasty the food was. I've recommended Cordiano Winery to many people over the years and now I'm happy to also recommend their large, catered events! I finally got to try the pizza and it was amazing. We tried the Margherita ($14)  and the Supreme. Both were great for different reasons. The Margherita was perfect with fresh tomatoes, basil, olive oil and a little bit of garlic on the crust. The Supreme ($17) had sausage, pepperoni, shaved ham, grilled zucchini, mushrooms and roasted peppers. Our group of seven devoured the great creations. The view is still amazing, the winery has grown with much more seating and they even have a wedding venue!I recommend this for a nice time outside with good food, family, friends and wine! More...

Best winery for food!!! The views are  the best I have seen so far! The pasta very tasty and the PIZZA was the best for brick oven style! This is my go to when I can't have my Manhattan or Brooklyn pizza.The atmosphere and surrounding fields are the most impressive mountain and hill views in San Diego.The wine is ok..... I haven't tried every type but I have been here 3 times and so far it's decent wine but not good for the price. The glass can be more generous for the cost. The five stars are for the VIEW, SERVICE AND FOOD ONLY! But add any wine and it's still a hell of a great place to relax and take in the sun and fresh air. More...

This really should be a 5-Star review except for two things:- all three meals were served lukewarm.  The flavor was fantastic, but temperature of food needs to be hot.  I was going to return them, but thought they might just microwave it which I did not want.- the 2 people serving wine need to know what wines pair with each meal.  They guessed.  The wine was really good on its own, and not so much with the meal.I plan to come back and give this place another try.  Location was nice with a beautiful view.  Portions were plenty and pricing was great.Make reservations so you can try and get a table with a view.  I think the nicer tables might be for their wine club members or with a reservation. Arrive at this winery on a whim. My sister and I were in the area for the Archeological museum and noticed the winery option on Yelp. We had a 5 glass tasting of their reds, delicious! The view is spectacular and we were able to walk right up for a nice lunch. We shared the margarita pizza and salad. The pizza was my favorite! So good! I will be visiting again. More...

We met some friends at the Cordiano Winery this past weekend and were completely blown away! The winery is located off of a winding road where other wineries are also situated, so if you happen to find yourself on an Escondido wine tour, make a stop at Cordiano!  The back patio in and of itself is stunning, but the views of Southern California from the back patio are the most beautiful I've ever seen. Cordiano Winery is the perfect place to grab a pizza snack and glass (or bottle!) of wine. We ordered the margherita pizza and it was delicious. I am usually a red wine person, but since it was almost 100 degrees outside that day, I opted for the Pinot Grigio and loved it. It was so easy to drink and complimented the margherita pizza well. I'm not sure why some people are bashing this place about service and stuff about animal rescues ( ) ...Anyway, I digress. This is the first winery I attended in San Diego. I don't even drink wine, but it was for a work event. This place is tucked away east in Escondido.My experience was that the servers were friendly and attentive. One little example was that I had asked to use the soap in the area where the servers were operating, due to the bathroom running out of soap. He immediately tended to that matter. Besides that, they were constantly around (but not in our way), tending to whatever matter was at hand.Appetizers and main course were both very delicious. I read someone talking about how this place felt more like a pizza place; I can see why they would think that. In some sense, the place also just feels like an outdoor restaurant. But hey, I'm not complaining because I thought their pizza was VERY good.The place is owned by these Italian people from Calabria. They had checked on us at least thrice (to my observation) throughout the night, seeing how we were doing, how the food was. The male owner cracked jokes with us, giving us a good laugh.Views were pretty darn awesome. From what it sounds like, they have been expanding and continue to do so, which is neat to see. A bunch of my coworkers have been to this winery, whether it was for work or personal. They all spoke highly of the place as well, raving about the food, hospitality and views. Kim helped me pull off a beautiful and romantic wedding out of state wedding. She answered all my questions, kept me in the loop, and helped me focus my wedding vision. She is uber talented, helping me nail down a theme, colors, floral preferences, literally everything. She took my scattered ideas and messy Pinterest board and totally understood what I was imagining. As an out of state bride I couldn’t be present for a venue tour or in person consultation but she made it work flawlessly. This woman can do everything! From florals to rentals to vendor recommendations to the cake itself, Kim blew me away. She took all my stress away and produced a wedding that could have been in the movies. This was our last stop of the day just for dinner. People were telling me this winery has the best views and food and couldn't agree with them more. We didn't even bother with the wine as we had, had enough and trust me the food alone is what you need. I am very thankful that this place considers their lactose intolerant clients. I was able to order the spaghetti campagnola without the dairy. Since we arrived and 1 hour and a half til closing it started to get busy. My dish took about 25 minutes to arrive which was fine because I knew they would take some time to make it dairy free. Once it arrived I couldn't put my fork down. My spaghetti was amazing! A little on the oily side, but it tasted delicious! The portion was really generous as well. This whole time everyone had received their dishes except for my friend. Her dish (Fettuccine Alfredo) still had not come out and we were all done. A server came to the table behind us with the same dish, but was turned away because the order was wrong. I called out to him to see if it happened to be my friends dish and was rudely answered with "no the dish is not for your table it's for table 32." I was surprised at his rudeness, but really wanted to leave so I called out to him again in hopes of him giving the dish to my friend since it was the same thing she ordered. He didn't even let me ask him as he rudely hollered back to give him a second as he walked away. It might have been a frustrating day and they were closing, but there was no need to be rude about it. I did bring it to one of the staff's attention and he did talk to the young man. He also compensated my friend and the rest of the table with cannoli and tiramisu. I touch on this story because so many restaurants now adays do not make the attempt to right an unfortunate customer service experience, but this place did. I can't believe I had never heard of this winery, until this year. From a recommendation of a friend.This last Sunday I had a get together for me and 24 of my closets friends. I was a little worried about it though, because of the gal I had been exchanging emails with about the large party. She didn't seem to interested nor too helpful. Went about two hours before sun down and it was packed, but got a table in 30 minutes while sipping wine and walking the grounds. It was a great place to spend time with friends. Casual dress. Summer time and warm and most people in shorts. The food was a bit expensive, but very good. We were pleased with the wine. The Merlot and blended red were great for spending time with friends. I absolutely love this place.  Such a nice little drive there feels like you aren't even in San Diego anymore.  Pretty windy roads, lots of land. The winery itself has such a nice & friendly staff.  The pizza was AMAZING!  The wines were decent.  I'm more into Chardonnay & Roses & I'm very picky so the wines were fun to taste to try different things.  I will be back just for the pizza itself.  The view & property are gorgeous.  Gets busy so get there early.
