I can't recommend this place enough, Debbi is so lovely and helpful. I took my wedding dress here after being told it wasn't possible by another shop . Really good prices and the quality of the work is perfect. Also took a dress in for a quick alteration needing doing quickly, it wasn't a problem and was done on time. We will definitely be using here regularly as we often need bits altered and it's very convenient being so near Tesco and B&Q you can pop in while out shopping. This is the second time that I have asked Simply Handmade for their services, the first time was for skirt and dress alterations, and this time I had a tablecloth altered, but shortening one side, and the off cut was made into a table runner. Wow brilliant company and bespoke service. Debbi was exceptional she transformed my daughter's textile fabric design into 3 roman blinds . Also when I couldn't get my blind to work for me ( window 4metres up from my landing ) she added a cord stop and 2 metres extra of cord so once fitted I can operate from my landing . Had my bridesmaid dresses altered with Simply Hamdmade and was so impressed with the service. Debbi the seamstress was incredible and made all the dresses look superb. She was so patient and reassuring and was able to sort out our last minute alteration of one of dresses. Great Service, have used Simply Handmade now on quite a few occasions for trouser alterations whether it has been for the taking up the length or for tapering of the lower leg to achieve a more fitted trouser.
