What an amazing experience. When my husband and I decided to elope the only thing I felt I was missing out on my special day was having a wedding full of flowers. We decided to get photos done by Jordan Voth for our one year anniversary and I had noticed Tamaras flowers in the Dress theory when I picked up my dress. I sent her an email and she was so eager to take on my teeny tiny request of one bouquet. When I picked up my bouquet I instantly started crying! It was absolutely perfect. She obviously hand picked every single flower and she put her heart into it. I ended up drying out the flowers and putting them in a shadow box. I EVEN GOT A FULL SLEEVE TATTOO OF IT! I will start by saying this: You WILL want to hire Tamara and her team to plan your next event and I will tell you why. Tamara is such an easy and fun person to work with. Besides her amazing energy, she is brilliant when doing event planning. She has the BEST ideas and knows everyone and every way to get things executed much better than you ever dreamt of. First birthday parties are HUGE in my culture so we knew we would need help to make the party of our dreams happen. We hired Simply by Tamara Nicole and I would hire her a thousand times again. Our experience was beyond and beyond. We had a vague idea for the theme of our son's first birthday, but we knew we wanted something personal to him. We went with what we saw he likes the most: his books. We also decided for brunch. I was so happy when Tamara was on board with this and from these simple ideas she managed to plan the best first birthday party for ourselves and our guests. Every single detail was perfectly curated. We had an ice cream cart, balloon twisting and face painting, a mimosa bar, a coffee bar, a kids lounge, an incredible 3D cake and a great selection of food. There were also a lot of other decor details and nice touches (I just can't list them all). Overall, the party definitely pleased all of our guests, from the little ones to the big ones. On top of this, Tamara designed and created all the floral details herself, which complemented the vision and color palette of the party very flawlessly. I mean, I could spend a day writing all about that party and Tamara and her team. This is the best party we had. I can't sing higher praises for Tamara and her team of rockstar wedding planners.I've been working in the Seattle wedding industry as a pastry chef for the past decade, and have worked with Simply by Tamara Nicole (SBTN) on countless weddings. In addition, Tamara planned my own wedding back in October 2015 -- and I chose her out of all the other planners I've ever worked with, because there's no one better in the entire city (or probably on the entire West Coast). As a former client of theirs, and as a current industry colleague, I can list several things that stand out about SBTN:1) Communication -- always on time, always up-to-date. SBTN has a knack for sharing exactly the right pieces of information to couples and vendors at precisely the right time. Many other planners either over-communicate (which creates confusion for everyone) or fail to communicate timelines and key responsibilities to vendors and clients when needed (which is very bewildering!). This is not the case with SBTN. Communication grade: A++2) Personality -- upbeat, cheerful, professional, unflappable under stress. Of course, most *good* wedding planners are good at handling stress, or they wouldn't last. I hired Tamara to plan my big baby shower and it was fabulous! When it comes to planning, I am the worst so i knew hiring an organize planner like Tamara would be so helpful. She pulled off our baby shower in short notice and got it all together. From the start, she was on it getting together vendors, ideas and brought my tropical baby shower to life! Everything I told her i wanted, Tamara made it happen! My baby shower almost felt like another wedding because it was so fun and cute so perfectly put together. Where to even begin?! Words can't express how thankful and appreciative we are that Tamara and Nicole came into our lives. Where do I even begin! Tamara and her team are amazing. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with her for a full year planning our beautiful wedding. First off, Tamara is so sweet and truly cares about her clients! She connected us with the best vendors in the Seattle area to where I was not worried about a single aspect of the wedding. We are also a couple from out of town and Tamara went above and beyond to make sure all of our DIY projects were completed and was the eyes and ears on the ground. We are so happy we had Simply by Tamara Nicole as our wedding planner. Lindsay Comfort was our day of coordinator and we could not have ask for anyone better! She was so sweet and attentive. Our wedding was for nearly 200 guests in Seattle. The ceremony was at St. James Cathedral and the reception was at Axis Pioneer Square. Lindsay and Claire focused mainly on the reception at Axis and when we arrived after the ceremony, I was so happy with how the space looked. It was beautiful and better than I had imagined.

My family is used to helping with weddings and was very hands on with many of the details. We wanted a lot of personal touches to go into the day to save money and make it more personal so we did the signature cocktails, name cards, gift table, homemade cakes, and most of the decor ourselves. Lindsay was able to take what my family had made for the reception and set it up beautifully! My parents loved Lindsay too and totally trusted her with putting everything together :)

I can’t say enough good things about Tamara. She is detail oriented, focused, and on top of her game! She is extremely responsive to emails and texts and makes you feel like you are her only bride (when clearly you’re not! ). Tamara brings great ideas to the table and thinks of the littlest details to make your wedding special. But even better is that she took my fuzzy ideas of what I wanted for a wedding and made them come to life. Tamara is also immensely helpful with the budget. She made some great suggestions on where we would get the most bang for our buck and where we could find some great deals.

The day of my wedding was so smooth and relaxing (I don’t know how many brides can say that!). All of my other vendors LOVED Tamara and her team. I don't even know where to begin, or how I can even express the talent, professionalism, and expertise that Tamara possesses. My husband and I worked with Tamara for the entire year leading up to our wedding. We are two people who know what we do and do not like, but needed help executing our vision. Planning a wedding is such a GIANT endeavor that you just can't do it on your own. Tamara takes the time to get to know her clients, understand their vision, and guides you in a creative direction to enhance what you want, but keep it well within your budget. I myself work in the wedding industry as a pastry chef, and my professional experience with Tamara has always been outstanding. Hiring Tamara to help plan and coordinate my own wedding was the first and easiest decision that my then-fiancé and I made in the whole process. Where do I even start? It was almost as if Tamara was born to become a wedding planner! Her name should be "Simply Phenomenal" By Tamara Nicole. Because she is just that. Tamara has been a pleasure to work with from the start. You can tell that she absolutely loves her job, is passionate about weddings, and above all else, cares deeply about her brides and their hopes for their big day. She was the only and only wedding planner I interviewed & I knew within minutes she would be easy and creative to work with. During the planning process, ever single email, every single question, text, slight detail was attended to. There were times when we had 4 or 5 different emails about different parts of the wedding going back and forth, and she replied to all of them in a timely fashion and left no question unanswered. And she always asked how I was doing, do I have fun plans for the weekend, etc. Did I mention how much she cares Tamara is organized, and was always up to the know on what's going on with my wedding even when it seemed like she had so many others going on! She is full of fun and creative suggestions, knows so much about the vendors and the wedding industry- she is a wealth of knowledge. My wedding day was absolutely perfect. Everyone kept saying how calm I was during the morning when we were getting ready...I wasn't worried about a thing because I trusted Tamara would handle anything and everything. There are not enough words for amazing that I can use to describe working with Tammy and her team at SBTN. From the moment I first met her, I had a feeling she was going to do a great job being our wedding coordinator. She was first vendor I hired for my wedding and the best wedding decision I made.

I always tend to stress out more than necessary and Tammy made sure to ask me what I was the most stressed about so we could tackle it first and eliminate the stress. With every email, phone call, text, and meeting that we had, I would just become more and more impressed. And we are talking about a woman who was due to give birth to her first child around my wedding date!

If she was at all stressed herself or had anything else going on, we never knew. She gave her full attention and commitment to our wedding and probably a whole lot more than we ever could have asked for. She was always so prompt to respond to me and all of my wedding vendors (even mere days after giving birth!) so that I wasn't bombarded with questions.

Since our wedding was so close to Tammy's due date, she left us in the hands of her associate coordinator, Claire, for wedding day coordinator duties. I met with Claire before and we bonded over our love of football, specifically the Seahawks. She's so sweet and friendly and every bit as capable and organized as Tammy. Throughout the day there were so many little things that came up that she just took care of so we didn't have to worry.

Tammy was a true partner throughout our entire wedding. My family and I were so fortunate to find Tamara to help us plan my daughters wedding on October 18, 2014. From the moment we met her, we knew spending a year in the planning phase would be delightful. What we didn't know was how tireless, creative, responsive, inventive, reassuring, connected, and incredibly ORGANIZED and dedicated she was. She never missed a beat while pregnant with her adorable son and with his birth thereafter - yet we would have totally understood.

Tamara's ideas and suggestions were unique and personal to us, and she created many decor items herself! She was the conductor of her own orchestra, a queen bee, a supreme leader who so calmly handled a thousand details with a never ending smile. As parents of the bride, we got to relax and enjoy every moment of this spectacular day, without a single worry or thought about what to do next. Tamara was so great to work with and she really listened to what we were looking for. Our wishes were not necessarily to have everything that is traditional in a wedding and she really supported and helped us in what we were wanting in our wedding. She made it always about us and what we were wanting. Tamara is simply awesome! My husband and I hired her for our day-of coordinator and our wedding would not have gone as perfectly as it did without her. I had a huge list of items for her to setup, and she and her husband executed everything amazingly. Our ceremony and reception spaces looked so beautiful, and I know that so much of that was her doing. Not only did she deal with setup though, she also obviously had to coordinate.

She was so professional, making sure we had everything ready to go, organized. Made sure all the vendors knew when to show up, helping get the timeline perfect! People knew where to walk, where to stand. And I’m sure she did so many other behind-the-scenes things that I never even got to see or know about. But I never had to worry that things weren’t going to go well, because I trusted that she would take care of whatever came up.

Nothing fazes this woman- she is the best! Her services are affordable, and so so worth it. She goes above and beyond any expectations, and is so much fun to work with. Tamara is without a doubt the best wedding planner. She guided me through all of the step leading up to the big day, including decoration, invitation, vendors and keeping my stress level low. On the wedding day, I didn't have a single stress or worry because I knew she would present a flawless wedding and she ended up exceeding my expectations. I actually found Tamara on a wedding site. I decided I wanted her to be my planner because of her reviews. I couldn't have been happier! ! Not only did she keep me organized, save me money, pull everything off while keeping me completely calm, she literally made my day so special by bringing her style to the wedding. She made my backdrop, glittered just about everything that was at the wedding, and suggested every vendor that I needed. She made our day (which could have been very stressful) a breeze. I hired her because I live in Atlanta, travel about 3 weeks out of the month and had to plan a wedding in Seattle... She was amazing!!! I would give Tamara way more than 5 stars if I was able to, she is absolutely AMAZING! From start to finish, she was incredible. From planning meetings over happy hour or cupcakes she is so full of energy and has amazing ideas. She truly understood my vision and helped make everything in my head a reality. She responds to you so quickly and make the whole planning process seem so much less stressful. I hired Tamara to be my day of coordinator and for styling, and it was probably the best money spent for the wedding. The wedding day went off perfectly and everything was so incredibly beautiful. We were about 10 months out from our desired wedding date when we realized we couldn't do it on our own, especially planning a wedding in Washington when we lived in Montana. Hiring Tamara was the best decision for us with her knowledge of the industry and vendors in the area. We communicated mostly via email and Tammy was always accessible and very responsive. She also helped us stick to our budget and had so many great ideas that we could DIY to save money. I can not say enough about Tamara! We hired Tamara to be our day-of wedding coordinator and help us with the flow of the day, set-up and timelines. From the moment I met her, she was bubbly, professional, responsive and just a joy to talk to. I could tell she was someone that knew what she was doing and was happy doing it. We clicked right away and had a blast working together!
Whenever we had questions, Tamara was right there to help answer them. She helped us through all the planning of the day-of timeline, coordinated with our other vendors, walked-though the venue with me to make sure she had my vision "just right" and helped with the ceremony rehearsal the day before.
On the big day Tamara executed my vision perfectly and made sure every detail was exactly as I had laid out for her. Everything looked spectacular! When there was a slight emergency with one of my craft projects, Tamara spent extra time setting it right and made sure everything looked perfect.
Between my husband and I, we needed a couple of things during the night and she had them all in her emergency kit. My family could not stop talking about how sweet, on top of things and professional Tamara was all night and even after the wedding was over. Ladies, look no further...hire this woman!!! As soon as I got engaged, I was certain that I wanted to design my wedding myself but wanted someone there to coordinate everything to make sure it all came together on the day-of. I researched pretty much every well-rated day-of coordinator in Seattle and ended up choosing Tamara because not only did she already have stellar reviews and offered so much for her day-of package, she was incredibly sweet and friendly and amazingly affordable and I knew she would be perfect! I'm a super organized, detail-oriented person and I had always assumed hiring a coordinator for wedding day would just be back up. Boy, was I wrong! It wasn't until wedding day that I realized how totally crazy things were going to get. Even with my obsessive planning, many things had to be changed or dealt with on the day of and many people had to be herded and I truly don't know what I would've done without someone there like Tamara who knew exactly what I wanted, down to the last detail and executed flawlessly so I could focus on my day, my groom, and have tons of fun. I almost forgot there were so many details I wanted coordinated perfectly until I saw everything done, perfectly, from the timing of things to decor items, to bridal party and family. Who would have kept everything on the planned timeline? Who would have laid out all the decor items exactly where I wanted them? Who would have fixed my veil every time it fell out and no one was around who knew how to put it back in? Who would have told bridal party where to go, stand, and cue them? Tamara was my Wedding Day savior! I am so thankful I came across her information because I would never have been able to put together my Wedding the way she did. I am not the typical bride who knows exactly what she wants and is excited about the planning! I was actually terrified and had no idea where to start or how to make my visions come to life.

I booked Tamara to do full wedding planning and she did not disappoint. We were in constant communication, and she was very quick to respond and keep me on track. She had great vendor recommendations, and fabulous decorating ideas! Not to mention that she is one of the happiest people you will ever meet. It was obvious that she truly loves what she is doing and will do everything she can to make your day as seamless as possible. Tamara worked with us from the very beginning and we are SO glad we had her guidance throughout the whole process! We planned our summer wedding in a six month time frame and she was invaluable every step of the way. Obviously, having never planned a wedding before, I was generally overwhelmed with every decision that had to be made and didn’t know where to start with vendors, ideas, budgeting. Tammy made everything manageable with great connections and resources- not mention she had a ton of creative ideas for every aspect of the wedding. This lady is crafty! We tried to do as many things on our own as we could to cut down on cost (made invites, menus, bouquets)- Tammy lead each crafting session and always had more ideas that always added that extra touch.

One great trait she has as a wedding planner is her commitment to making sure that the wedding is a reflection of the couple and fulfills exactly how they envision their special day. She’ll give her opinion if you ask (of course I just happened to agree with her on nearly everything), but she will never push her own ideas or agenda on a couple. She had a positive attitude the whole way that gave me the reassurance that everything would come together in the end. She embraced every idea I had and did her best to make it work. We had incredible peace of mind having her on our team. Not to mention she was a superstar on the day of our wedding- I didn’t have to worry about a thing and was truly able to enjoy my wedding day for start to finish. My wedding day exceeded what I could have hoped for and it wouldn’t have been what it as without Tammy’s help.

What can we say about Tamara?!?! NO WORDS can explain how happy we were with her. From the day my husband and I said we had chosen her to be our day of coordinator, she was eager to help us with everything. She had great advice on other vendors, and was very helpful when it came to our photo booth props ( which EVERYONE LOVED). Tammy was INCREDIBLE! As the maid of honor I wanted this day to be PERFECT for my sister. It was something we had been dreaming about forever it seemed there was no way to live up to our expectations, yet Tammy not only made it happen, she pulled things together in such a way that the wedding was more beautiful and smoothly orchestrated than I could have ever imagined. Tamara is a gem. She is easy to work with, positive, energetic, organized and professional! She has an abundance of great and creative ideas, and she knows how to work on a budget. We hired Tamara as our day of coordinator for our wedding in July. She was so great from the time we hired her, up to the very end of the reception. She responded to my emails quickly & had answers to all my questions. She gave a lot of ideas, met up with me to go over wedding details & was very organized and helpful. She helped me with the wedding timeline and kept in touch with my vendors. Having her at our wedding left me and my husband to enjoy our day. Not only us, but our family also.
