We met Simon a week or so before our Wedding,which was on December 20th 2022. Having booked him to take our wedding photos a year before, it was great to meet Simon & put a face to the name. We met him locally to us & we spent a good hour of him taking various photos to give us an idea of how he worked. Immediately we both felt so at ease as Simon was so easy to work with,it felt so natural being photographed & filled us both with confidence for our photography on our special day.
On the day from taking photographs of Rachael having hair & make up at our venue,to all the photographs throughout the day,indoors & out right up until quite a while after our first dance, Simon was absolutely brilliant.
He made us & all the guests so at ease & so relaxed,he’s a joy to work with,we couldn’t have chosen better!
All of our guests commented on how easy & professional Simon was to work with,most of the time later on,we didn’t even notice him taking photographs,all of which are amazing.

Simon is an amazing wedding photographer. He went above and beyond what we had wished for. The photos and moments he captured were exceptional. He is the kindest heart ever- he stole everyone's heart on our big day, being so hardworking despite the extreme weather conditions (our wedding was on August, 2022 and temperatures were above 30C). We booked Simon back in 2018 for our 2020 wedding that didn’t happen unfortunately. He moved dates to match our 3 cancellations and never questioned a thing.
Could speak highly of his work on the day, he performed in a professional and mostly importantly a calm manner. And the pictures we have received were absolutely stunning.

Simon did our wedding photography yesterday, 31.3.22 and he honestly made our day so so special. Photos mean a lot to me and my partner and so this part was the most important. I can not recommend him enough, he’s so kind and welcoming and makes you feel so comfortable. He’s very professional knowing exactly what point and lighting and positioning for everything you could ask for. Even time watching for a perfect sunset photo but at the same time also forgetting he is there capturing the best and most natural moments. All of our guests were singing his praises. Working with Simon was really amazing far beyond what I had imagined .I called him with a blank template never having any experience of what wedding photography would entail . We had an initial meeting with Simon which was helpful in breaking the ice and jitters ,he put us at ease honestly that meeting surely sealed the deal.We had a pre wedding shoot as part of our package which was very exciting and really built even better rapport as we felt really comfortable around him .Fast forward to the big day being around Simon was familiar and natural so much so it wasn't awkward and knowing we could be ourselves ,sometimes laughing and joking and not stiffing for the photographs.Everyone commented on how easy going but very professional he was .It was good to also see the other side of preparations knowing we couldn't be in 2 places at once. The photographs themselves are extra amazing I can't commend him enough .

We hired Simon for our wedding at Wollaton Hall. To say Simon was perfect would be an understatement. He was brilliant. He made all of us feel at ease on the day, made us laugh, made sure we enjoyed the day and worked tirelessly for the whole day to get amazing, amazing photographs. He took the time to meet us before the event to do a pre shoot and discuss in detail what we wanted for the day. He listened to the brief perfectly and was so incredibly easy to work with. We were looking for a local photographer for our wedding and after putting an ad up on Bark, Simon was one of the photographers that got back to us. We booked in a date to meet him and we loved him straight away.

We wanted the day to feel relaxed and really wanted natural photos of everyone enjoying themselves. Simon listened to exactly what we wanted and was very helpful. On our first meeting Simon made us feel very comfortable and is just a lovely man.

On the day Simon was very lovely and friendly with all of our guests, he actually felt like an extended family member and we were happy to have him as part of our day. My family commented on how nice he was and he was great with directing guests for photos.

The day after the wedding Simon sent me just a few photos to give us an idea of what to expect and we loved them! We are really excited to get them back.

Simon was amazing from the start, arranged an introductory session where he explained what his photography style was and took some beautiful complimentary photos.

Simon has been great from start to finish.
We met up for a photo shoot before the wedding which was great and discussed the type of shots we would like.
We didn’t want too many posed photo’s and Simon took this on board on the day. He took the shots we requested ie: family and friends etc. He then took lots of natural photo’s and we didn’t even notice he was there. Everything was so relaxed and easy.
Within a few days after the wedding Simon sent all the photo’s to me on a link and they are amazing. He has taken so many and we now have to decide which ones we would like printed, this is going to be so hard!!
Communication with Simon has been really good and he is a really nice person who makes you feel at ease.

Working with Simon was a real treat. He was easygoing and professional and explained his techniques, expertise and most importantly the way he likes to work in a pressure-free and friendly environment before we booked him. He had all the time in the world for our questions and thoughts. His technical knowledge was clear and it stood out that he explained and showed us the ways he could capture the best images for us regardless of the lighting and weather in a way we could easily understand rather than trying to impress us with a few sunny shots!

Simon was great. The photos where top quality better than we imagined. He is professional punctual & communication was excellent. The service he provided was value for the money we paid. On the day of the wedding the weather wasn't great he was responsive to weather to get great pictures shots. Very patient guy who wants make the day special for us. The photos we received are very professional & what we asked for natural shots of are guest & the usual pose shots you have for a wedding.
