I currently work as a secondary school biology teacher and part time as a videographer and photographer. My main areas of interest for photo/videography are weddings and live events. With photography, I would be interested in any type of photography work, but I am particularly keen to add to my wedding photography portfolio, so may be able to offer you a good deal for wedding photography!

Simon was an absolute dream at my daughter's wedding he got on so well with all of the guest and the bridal party. Nothing was to much for him he did every thing he could to cater for everyones wishes and would take photo's of whatever the guest's request. He joked and smiled throughout the whole day and evening. When we received the photo's the family sat around over the weekend looking at them all . We all thought they were great, and had a right laugh at some of them. Mark Brankin and I cannot thank Simon enough for capturing our wedding ceremony plus the speeches on our wedding day, we are so pleased with the outcome which was a great quality video supplied on DVD and pen drive and this was ready for delivery before we were even home from honeymoon! What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Capturing a natural moment, with good lighting and a strong composition. If it’s forced, it won’t mean as much as something that’s been captured naturally!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are you looking for from me? If I can fully understand what you’re after, I’ll have a much better chance of ensuring that expectation is met.
What do you love most about your job?
I love taking photos! I love being in the moment, capturing memories that will hopefully be cherished for years to come.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My brother showed me his drone, and that combined with watching holiday/travel videos made me want to create my own!

I’m down to Earth, friendly, very hard working and will always do my best.

Online Skype/zoom calls available. I think it’s important to get to know your photographer/videographer as they will be spending large parts of the day quite close by. I’m more than happy to have a virtual coffee with you before any commitments are made!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Not applicable. I have been wearing my type 2 R mask all day at the weddings I’ve had over the course of the pandemic. Taking precautions elsewhere when feasible.
