Simon photographed our wedding and we could not have been happier. He was professional but warm and friendly and blended with our guests well. He was amazing with the children throughout the day which was really important to us. He captured our day beautifully and looking back at the photos really brought back the emotion of the day. We was so pleased. It was a long day but he was flexible and went out of his way to ensure that he caught all the shots we wanted despite our day not going to plan! Simon is not only the most talented photographers I have ever had the pleasure to meet but he also happens to be a total legend! He blended so well with our guests that friends asked if he was family and our family asked if he was a friend. He was so professional but friendly and warm. Simon didn’t stop from the time he got out of his car to the time he left us, he worked constantly despite us trying to tempt him into the party with jäger bombs he remained focused on the job in hand. Our photos are beyond our wildest dreams and are truly stunning. Simon has a knack of catching everyone’s personality in every shot, as well as catching the heart warming moments that would otherwise have been lost and forgotten in the whirlwind of our wedding day. Our friends and family have all commented on how brilliant Simon is and how fabulous his work is. Amazing , incredible, talented, ninga...these are just a few words I would use to describe Simon. My Mums wedding was one of the most important days of my life as she is so precious to me so getting the right photographer is key to everlasting memories. Simon was just amazing, candid shots that no one knew were happening most of the time ...hence why he is a photography ninga. He captures the real feeling in the moments and he was just the cherry on top to an amazing day. Our wedding was on 1st July and we are an 'older' bride and groom - so we were a little nervous of being photographed. Simon put us as ease and the photos show just how well he succeeded. Our photos are a beautiful reminder of a special day - he captured the day perfectly - very informal - with family and friends - and from the photos he has taken we can see how the day progressed - from the chaos of getting ready to our arrival and ceremony and relaxing afterwards. One of the most important things for us for our wedding was finding the right photographer. The day goes by so quickly but the photos last forever. Simon's relaxed and professional style of taking candid's suited us perfectly as we were both worried about having lots of formal posed photos taken. Wow! We could never thank you enough for your work Simon. You were able to capture our day in the most perfect way and have given us a way to cherish our memories forever. We are absolutely over the moon with our wedding photos, all 700+ of them! Looking through them all made us laugh, cry and cringe at the bad dancing! - exactly what we wanted! Your style and ability to capture the bigger picture or even the smallest details is honestly incredible. There were moments we didn’t see or moments that slipped our minds that your photos were able to bring back to life!Simon’s photography style was all we were after. A documentary of our day, without the posed shots. We wanted to enjoy our day with our family and friends and allow for Simon to try and capture those special, natural moments instead. My fiancee and I have had several shoots before, maternity and newborn so we kind of knew what to expect- or so we thought! I have never worked with a photographer that put you so at ease from the first moment. We had an engagement shoot involving our (very active) one year old and absolutely LOVED the experience. Simon knew how to get our little one in on the shoot as well as keeping her entertained whilst we had more intimate moments.His vision is innovative and he makes you feel (And look) like you're in a Hugo Boss advert. Creating beautiful images that incorporate the stunning backdrop and capturing those little looks that you reserve purely for the ones you love.Since posting the photos on social media we have had one comment over and over " wow, You can really see the love between you all". Simon photographed the men getting ready before our wedding. This was something that I was particularly keen on seeing as was not going to be a part of it and I imagined it would be very different to us girls getting ready. Simon captured some great moments throughout the morning, including my husband being given his wedding present and a photo of my Dad that just sums him up and is now pride of place in my living room. My fiancé and I had the amazing experience of an engagement shoot with Simon. It was very relaxed, friendly and professional.
As a first photoshoot for the both of us we didn't really know what to expect, but Simon made us feel very relaxed and the photos he took show this. His personality helped us to just enjoy the shoot as he is really down to earth, easy to get along with, as well as being professional.
We had a two section shoot, with the first part being more intimate which ended up being some of our favourite ever photos! And an absolutely brilliant and hilarious second part, with a holi powder fight! The pictures came out amazing and it was great to see the colour fight in action!
Simon is a great photographer and I could not recommend him enough.
