Elliot Silver was the best! I was fighting a domestic violence charge. We called him around 6pm the night before my court date and he quickly negotiated a reasonable price, much lower than defense attorneys I had spoken to previously. In addition, he put my nerves completely at ease, sharing the tactics he would use to eventually get my charges dismissed. My husband had recently been arrested and I wasn't confident with having the public pretender represent him so I called a few offices and Mr. Silver was the second number I called. He was driving to the office & unfortunately our call dropped. He called me back but I had already moved on to the next attorney's #. After getting the horrible news of just a "come in & we'll talk for $2500" answer," and "I'll need that up front before even setting up an appointment" response as well, I was really worried. Mr. Silver was there at the end of the day, ready to talk with just my word that I could make half that payment to him. Although, Mr. Silver was kind enough at the end of the day to take time to personally speak with me. I wish I could afford his services.
