We go to the Harrisonburg area several times a year and usually stay at the Sleep Inn (which is fine), but on this trip we decided to switch to a B and B. Recommended by Trip Advisor, we found that the room rates at the Silver Lake Bed and …Read more on TripAdvisor More...

This was a nice B & B in a quiet farming community. The rooms were decorated nicely and the log cabin detail was interesting. Breakfast was delicious, too. The owners were out of town so there was another woman running the establishment. More...

We loved the area. There were farms and serenity that was unusual for those of us from the big cities. The room was great, as well as, breakfast. I was amazed by the fireflies at night; again, we don't see many of those in the city. The …Read more on TripAdvisor More...

Great location just outside of town. They had enough parking to accommodate a trailer we were towing. The inn keepers were friendly; the price was great. The house was visually interesting and ckean. More...

A very nice B&B to stay at.Great property and staff.Only gripe would be non-functional internet (very poor WiFi signal in the room we were in) - which needs to be fixed.

The owners have transformed a very old farmhouse into a charming B & B. This is the perfect place to unplug and enjoy quiet. The rooms are fully modern. The breakfast was good and filling. This would be good place to use as a base for day trips or just relax. More...

Only drawback was poor cell phone and internet service. Normally that could be a blessing but this was for a very ill family member in the hospital so connectivity was important.

We arrived early and were checked in with no hassles. The history of this old homestead is fun to see and the rural and quiet setting was just what we were looking for.

So cute! Rustic like going back in time. Parlor bedroom you can hear people walking around upstairs but as long as they go to bed at a respectable hour not a problem

Wonderful hosts and gorgeous rural setting, just minutes from downtown Harrisonburg. The property managers were absolutely delightful and so accommodating, we felt like we were staying at our families farm!

It's a little off the beaten path (but that was a plus) with much to do in the surrounding areas from wineries, visiting several caverns or even JMU, heading to Staunton to the Black Friars Theatre or Woodrow Wilson's birthplace, or even close to skiing. Ryan and Katie were welcoming and pleasant. The B&B had all the charm of a log cabin with the modern necessities blended tastefully within. More...

It’s so cozy and welcoming here. So much better experience than staying at a hotel. The rooms are really clean and everything is updated with a rustic appeal. House has a lot of history and still has a lot of the original 1750 wooden beams and walls. Great hospitality from the hosts. More...

Settled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, its impossible not to be filled with bliss while drinking your morning coffee in a rocking chair on their spacious wrap around porch. The managers, Katie & Ryan, were pleasant and knowledgeable. They've been in the area for a long time and are the reason I made the most out of my visit.
