What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
The secret to keeping a party dancing all night is an eclectic mix of music. We can rock a party all night: wedding reception, graduation, birthday... Sick Son can also produce comedy shows; 90 minutes is maximum length of a comedy show. We have an unlimited pool of comedians to choose from.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
My personal style of djing has been described as 32 flavors: I play a little bit of everything so everyone has a chance to dance to their favorite song(s). I will build a set list to accommodate the older crowd early on and wait until later in the evening for the club bangers. The editing of music is per request.
As far as my comedy style, people have compared me to greats such as George Carlin, Mitch Hedberg, and Louis CK. I deal in adult content unless otherwise agreed upon.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing a sea of faces full of smiles. Creating the thing that is allowing others to have a good time is rewarding.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Being my own boss is important: I make all the decisions and therefor suffer all the consequences as well as reap all the rewards. I do have a small crew of volunteers/employees that are invaluable to helping make things happen.
