I had no heating over the Christmas period, it was terrible we had family coming round and the house was so cold we had to eat our Christmas dinner with our coats on ! ! I contacted a few local companies and they wanted over 4K to supply and install a new system (I can’t afford it) plus they wanted me to wait till next year (middle / end of jan ) I contacted Shropshire gas and I’m glad I did, they managed to re pair my exiting system for a fraction of the price. Had shropshire gas out as an emergency, had no pressure showing on the boiler, so no hot water or heating. Employed Shropshire gas to install full oil fired central heating system - external boiler, radiators, oil tank and supply to house. The laws relating to defamation really prevent an accurate description of the dreadful quality delivered by this bunch of cowboys.
Appalling mess following a dreadful installation and we will have to replace the entire system soon.

Just spent all afternoon waiting in for them to turn up and fitt a new radiator. Yet another no show.

Best company around for miles for heating, plumbing, electrics and boiler installs. They're one of the only companies around offering commercial gas service, maintenance and installation, and the ONLY company I've managed to find that do unvented hot water.

We had boiler problem no hot water mark from shropshire gas came and sorted the problem ,we had previously been told boiler needed a hydro block this was from another company, mark confirmed this not to be true and boiler only needed re pressurising,mark did this also came back next day to clean a part hence this only cost us £69. 50 as appose to previous persons high quote.mark was totally honest quick to get to us we are now all up and running so thank you ,highly recomend shropshire gas once again thank you to mark also. Upon waking I found my Heating system had failed on 9th January, 2019 and contacted the Shrop Gas team for urgent assistance at 09:00. Shropshire Gas fitted a replacement boiler in June,went wrong within 6 months, came out just before Christmas,identified the problem and I was all sorted within about 2 hours, very efficient with the job,clean and tidy throughout, could not be faulted in any way, so a very BIG thank you to Jim, the business co-owner, nothing was too much trouble he even fixed my badly dripping tap at the same time, so thank you Jim, and sorry for being a pain in the neck, the tap and everything else is working brilliantly,I would highly recommend Shropshire gas to anyone looking to buy a new or upgrade of their heating or other appliances, a great result all round, and I would like to wish everyone at Shropshire Gas a very happy new year for 2019.

Bought a replacement boiler in June, had a problem with it in December just before Christmas, sorted and fixed within a couple of hours, very pleased with the quick response, so a very BIG thank you to Jim, for all the trouble taken to get us sorted,and sorry for being a pain in the neck.

Chris and Jay came to our house just over a week ago and replaced our 45-year old boiler and we can’t fault their work. They were polite, friendly and made sure that all of our carpets were properly covered to avoid any mess. The work was completed on time and exceeded our expectations. We had a little hiccup with the new controls, but Jim came out within a couple of hours of us reporting the issue and we’ve had no trouble since. As a customer I am self declared as a business' worst nightmare. My expectations are perfection.Shropshire Gas met and indeed exceeded all my requirements in supplying and fitting a new gas fire. The co-ordination of Trades was smooth with all respecting my home and achieving their role. A particular thanks to Phil for his "making good" the plastering, a perfect finish. Boiler replacement and re-sited. Excellent service. On time, tidy, efficient, well mannered and considerate of our home, local trade people, what more can you want! During their time here we asked if they could replace an old shower and fix a small leak on the toilet; this was no problem to them and we were very pleased to have this sorted at the same time as we had put them on the spot.
