I attended the recent Victoria Stilwell event which was organised by Top Dog Seminars. It was extremely well organised. When we arrived the booking in process was very simple and efficient. The venue was great and catering was wonderful. The staff organising the event were very willing to please and nothing was any trouble no matter what the query. I learned so much valuable information at the event both from a theoretical and practical basis. I have booked for the Victoria Stilwell event in Edinburgh on the 15th March and I am 100% sure that it will be of the same standard. Cannot recommend Top Dogs highly enough. My little rescue terrier, Winnie, was so difficult when I first had her that I seriously considered on several occasions returning her to the rescue centre. After a bad experience with one trainer (who made Winnie worse) I found the awesome Emma. Thanks to the help and advice that I received from Emma I can now manage Winnie's problems relatively easily. Took my 3 year old sprocker at the start of the year as he had issues with stranger and other dogs when on walk and in the house! Barking and pulling my arm off on daily walks but since one to one training with Emma I have seen huge improvement I can now walk him past other dogs in the street without him barking or pulling me towards them! It's taken time but I'm so glad I suck with it. Would

Laura has been so understanding and supportive of our very specific needs. Our rescue dog has been a particular challenge due to his background and breed characterises. The techniques we've learned have made a huge difference, enabling us to ensure he feels secure, confident and happy. The obedience is work is still very much in progress, but we will get there with continued sessions and putting what we learn into practise outside of the training sessions. My dogs are both former street dogs so my expectations were never very high. However as you can see from the video my boy Benjen loves training with Laura as does my younger dog. Both do rally but are very different dogs and Laura has given me great advice as to how to get the best out of them. Tegan has also done a 'Do More' class where she absolutely loved learning new tricks which helped to build her confidence. Benjen adores his agility class too with Karen. You simply cannot fail to find a class at Shropshire Dog Training Centre to suit both you and your dog. More...

I would highly recommend, I met Laura when she did a home visit as I was having problems & running out of hope that my 5 year old border collie would ever build a bond with my 1 year old son , but since her visit I have noticed a huge improvement already & I have done the suggested things Laura had said to me & I can safely say I have regained hope that my dog & son will become forever friends in the future �

Amazing 6 week class with my older rescue puppy. She’s really grown into a clever dog and listens well now. The training was great and we also had a personal session and will be getting more as my dog struggles with strangers and anxiety but she’s pulling through. Thanks so much x

Laura has been a huge help with both my collies. They have both attended puppy classes, young dog classes and intermediate. They have also had 1-2-1 agility lessons with her and rally classes. They have both come so far since working with Laura and she has always been fantastic with helping me through problems with them both. I cannot recommend Laura enough. More...
