Either I had a typo on my last review or I'm an idiot. Possibly both! This place is undoubtedly 5 stars. Best buffet in the city, easily. Best indian restaurant in the city. One of the overall best restaurants in the city, especially on the north side of the Springs. Don't miss out on this place! More...
Such a great place. Food is excellent and service is fantastic. You have to try the Saag Paneer or any of the Korma's. I love this place for dinner or lunch. They also have some interesting beer selections More...
Most excellent food! This has become my favorite curry restaurant in northern Colorado Springs. A little pricey, though.
Food was delicious, staff was very friendly and attentive. Recommended
First visit a few months ago was for lunch buffet, which was exceptional - fresh, flavorful, and with memorably fantastic carrot pudding. Vowed to return, and when we finally tried to go on a Friday night, the place was so packed that we didn't stay.Got takeout tonight - meat combo and aloo matar naan. Noticed that the restaurant had plenty of room this time. At home, my tween and teen devoured the naan, and packed away the tikka and tandoori with fervor. One order fed all 3 of us with 2 servings leftover for tomorrow night! Delicious sauces, tender meat, and all around satisfaction.Dishes each have 2-4 servings; order accordingly and enjoy! More...
Loved it! The staff was very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere inside was nice, with music playing softly. Food was spot on (we had the chicken curry) and got medium spice, which was pretty spicy and we loved it. Highly recommend.
Nice, clean quiet atmosphere. Good, quality rotating selections on the buffet.
Absolute wow! I saw the good reviews online, so I had to go! I finally had some time off so I was able to go for lunch buffet. I do really love a good buffet. I have a huge appetite, so I always get my money's worth. They had a lot of options, and each was super high quality. I love the saag as always, and I tried this carrot pudding for the first time, and it was delicious! I honestly could not get enough! In addition, the host and staff were super friendly and helpful, and I loved the service that we received. I'd love to try the dinner sometime! More...
This place is awesome. Their food is delicious. The portions are large and the staff is so nice. Worth every penny for the great food. Easily one of the best places around. I would go there a few times a week but I live in falcon More...
Excellent food and drink menu. Quality of spice and service is deserving of a 5 star review.
Indian is my favorite and this is the Best Indian food I've ever had. Hands down. The owner said it was northern Indian cuisine. Enjoyed everything ibe tried. Thursday's they have a buffet. MUST GO if you like Indian food! More...
Food was great, service was slow
My wife and I have been here numerous times for the lunch buffet and this is by far our favorite Indian restaurant in the Springs. The food here is fantastic, the buffet is affordable compared to others and the staff are friendly. The Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala and Saag Paneer to name a few are all excellent! Definitely recommend this place. I don't get why the reviewer a few weeks ago gave this place a 1 star review because we have never experienced any of the food issues she did. Maybe it was just fluke day she went. The food has always tasted fresh and not dried out or anything. I will admit though, this last time we went, the service was a little slow, but that has not been the norm for us. This is still a 5 star place for us and we will be back. More...
Wonderful food. The quality is high and the staff truly cares about the customers. They do a great job. The music is top notch and the atmosphere is fun. I prefer dinners there. Good wine selections on top of authentic dishes. More...

Had the buffet for lunch, it was really good! Every dish tasted great and the sweets were mouth watering. The ambience and service were really good as well.
Great lunch buffet.
Absolutely delicious!! We are so happy to have found an awesome Indian restaurant in the Springs! We came for the Thursday night buffet and were so impressed!
Service could be better, but the food is absolutely terrific.
Best Indian food in town! Raj and his staff are the best! Food is amazing!
Great service and the food was absolutely delicious. Best Indian food in the Springs! I got the Chili Chicken per Raj's suggestion and it was great. My wife and daughter each got the butter chicken, also delicious. More...
This has got to be the best Indian food in Colorado Springs. 100% recommending this place to my friends.
Awesome food. A beautiful Indian kinda ambience. I really loved the service. If you are in Colorado Springs and you are looking for Indian food then Shri Ganesh is the place ! :)
Good food, even better service. Only con is I suspect they made my vindaloo not as spicy as it could have been out of fear it would be TOO spicy (but I really like spice).
Lunch Buffet was amazing! Good variety and great flavor. Everything on the line was fresh and kept in great condition. Will definitely be back!
Excellent food and service...
I wish that words would adequately describe the quality of the experience I had at this restaurant. What a nice place! I wish I could give 10 stars on here instead of just five. The lunch buffet is beautiful and the restaurant is lovely and comfortable for a nice date night. Not only is Raj an amazing host, his whole family works here and their dedication to providing a quality experience for every customer is apparent. They make the food fresh everyday and it is absolutely DELICIOUS! The portions are huge, everything is fresh, and the flavors are unbelievable!! You are going to thank yourself for choosing this restaurant. I highly recommend it and give it maximum Gold Stars & A+'s!!! More...
After eating here multiple times for both lunch and dinner, I felt inclined to express the awesome experience that is Shri Ganesh. Colorado Springs has no shortage of Indian food but Shri Ganesh is one of the best. The lunch Buffet is a great deal and satisfying. The staff is attentive and friendly. Highly highly recommend. By far the best Indian resturant in the springs!
I have the privilege of living within walking distance of this restaurant, which actually is a curse because I get to smell this food literally every day and it draws you in. And I'm tempted to walk there every Thursday night for their buffet dinner, but I don't have pants large enough to handle that much food that often.Pro tip though: If you haven't been and want to try the dishes here come here on a Thursday night. It's their dinner buffet, it's only $18, and you'll get to try just about every dish that's normally served a-la-carte during the rest of the week for just about the same price. I would normally never promote any sort of buffet because for the most part, buffets are pretty off-putting, but just trust me on this. This is very good Indian Food.Plenty of dishes for newcomers to Indian Cuisine - their Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Sweet Potato Tikka Masala are very good jumping off points. They actually have quite a few vegetarian dishes, all of them hearty and all with very unique flavors. The dishes that keep me coming back: * Saag Paneer - basically a creamed spinach with cubes of paneer (very mild-tasting cheese)* Vegetable Samosa - mashed potatoes and some other vegetables deep fried in a little hand held bundle of joy* Chana Aloo Curry - chickpea and sweet potato indian curry (I'm not vegetarian but I could easily be if all the dishes tasted like this)* Vegetarian Chau Chau - very plain looking noodle dish with boatloads of flavor* Nepali Kebab Chicken - just an interestingly spiced chicken dishAlso they have imported beer from India and Nepal. I got the Old Monk 10,000 Super Beer solely because of the name and while it was nothing to write home about it paired pretty well with the food. The service is a little hit-or-miss as the people working there are nice, but some of the older ladies speak little to no English. The naan (I assume) is made fresh to order, so you may sit there for 5-10 minutes before it arrives at your table. Don't freak out if you bite into something hard and wonder if you've bitten into some strange, inedible black plastic - these are Tamarind Seeds - spit them out still, but they're harmless. OH YEAH! If they have Carrot Pudding as one of their hot desserts, get some of that. I know it sounds weird, but it's strangely delicious. Shredded carrots, almonds, ghee, and a little sugar? Nirvana. More...
I have eaten as well as made Indian food. This is by far the best! Definitely going back to try more of the menu. Love that they adjust the spiciness to your preference. The curry is wonderful. So is the chicken tikki masala. If you haven't been there, GO! More...
Extremely good food, and really nice owner. He came over and told us a story! A really nice story as well. The portions are pretty big, but I like it that way, so it’s fine. I had a meat samosa and lamb korma, both of which were just amazing! Keep rockin’ on! More...
The food is really good. Good service! Really enjoyed the people who worked here. Also, the portions of food were large and filling! Totally recommend!
The best tikka masala and lamb bhuna in CO Springs.
Food was nice and service was excellent.
Authentic Indian food!
Phenomenal food! Very spicy and would definitely recommend.
Our families favorite cuisine is Indian and this place does not disappoint. Every dish we have ordered is a large portion with sauces that are rich and full of flavor. The entrees are big enough for two meals or to be shared. We have tried every Indian restaurant in the area and once we found this gem we never go anywhere else!Very clean establishment & the service is excellent from this family run restaurant. Shri Ganesh is our favorite restaurant in Colorado Springs and we hope to see more locations! More...

Outstanding! Tikka Masala, Korma and Goat curry all out of this world! Very nice seletions of homemade naan breads and the BEST desserts including hawala. Worth the price.
Best Indian food I have had! The staff is friendly and atmosphere is pleasant. So happy to have discovered this gem!
Absolutely delicious & authentic dining! Outstanding service too.
Great food and service. I've had the butter chicken, chicken masala and saag paneer and each were really good!
Very inviting environment there. great food, excellent service. staff was very friendly. We went there on Thursday for dinner, place got so busy thereafter, there were some wait involved however more importantly we were having good time there, Manager/Chef even stepped out to let us know about some delays , every employees were on their tows to serve people. will definitely recommend .
Hands down the best Indian food in town!!!
Great service and very kind people. The food was fantastic.
Best Indian food in Colorado Springs.
The chicken tiki masala was amazing! And the hand made nann was the best I've had. The decor is pleasing and the atmosphere is pretty standard for an Indian restaurant with buffet in my experience. I will go back but right now my overstuffed belly has me on house arrest. More...
You can't get better Naan bread anywhere! Excellent Indian food! The people there are wonderful. Highly recommended!!!
Best authentic Indian food in town by far.
Food and service was really good and we had a wait for some time to get our order
I had the lunch buffet and was very satisfied at the variety and quality of the food. I had never been before and was a bit confused at how to order or when, so the service keeps me from giving it five stars, but I'll be back. The tikka masala and mushroom pakora were delicious and the naan bread was great as well. More...

I love Shri Ganesh! As a DC native, my Indian food standards were a bit high, and this place consistently delivers. The food is amazing, the service is amazing, and we are always treated well. Some of my favorites are the Nepali Kebob and tandoori, but I haven't had one bad thing yet from their menu. I bring all of our visiting friends and family to Shri Ganesh for great food and a good time. This place is worth going to!! More...
Coming from Washington DC, this is absolutely blew me away. Curries we ordered were thick and full of flavor. I have never had anything as unique as the Nepalese Kabob. This is a gem!
We very much enjoy the food here. Always good! The servers are discreet and polite. At times communication is a little wish washy due to some language barriers with some, but not all, servers. Good value for money! Leftovers are so delicious the next day when the flavors have had even more time to mingle & develop! More...

Best Indian food in Colorado Springs hands down! The ambiance is nice. Very clean. Locally owned and operated. Reasonably priced and the food is fresh and very tasty!
Real tasty good service
Delicious food, nice environment definitely recommend
The food was very good but stay with the medium spice...I did not know that fennel seed tastes like licorice which is eaten after dinner like a mint in other restaurants
Good buffet and incredibly friendly staff.
This is an excellent Indian restaurant. Great variety for all tastes. Everything well prepared and delicious. Love that it seems to be a family run business. They take wonderful care of their patrons. More...
Went for lunch buffet and it was great. Really clean inside.
It was pretty good. When I asked for white girl mild spices, they were very nice about it. They didn't event try to make my food taste like pumpkin spice latte unlike another Indian Cuisine place did to me in Monterey. I highly suggest going here, you won't be disappointed. More...

I love this place! When we moved to North of town, we were still going to our fave, Little Nepal. It's just so far away. We tried this place and we had a winner. We have two little ones, so we normally do takeout. BUT! The only reason this review isn't 5 stars is because every time we order off of the app, it's NEVER ready when it says it is. NEVER!!! It's always 30-40 minutes after the app says it's ready. More often than not, they haven't even received the order when I get there. The food is rich, flavorful and consistent. I've learned to order everything "mild+". Since I'm in between, and medium is hit or miss as far as being truly medium (for me) and scorching hot. The service is polite, too. I've expressed frustration about my order not being ready several times and they are so apologetic. Last time the manager came out with a hot cup of chai. More...
Seriously THE best Indian food in this town. You definitely get what you pay for. The portions are big and the quality food is amazing. I love Indian food and this place didn't disappoint. I had the tandoori mixed grill and it was well cooked with great flavor. I am really glad the have goat on the menu. The service is really friendly and very attentive. Be aware of the spice level. Hot is hotter than you think. It always helps to order a side of Raita. I hope this restaurant will do well up in the land of chains. More...
I always have an internal *eye roll* when people say "This is THE best [fill in the blank] in town!!" Like oh really, you've tried ALLLLL the [donuts, French onion soup, ravioli, whatever] in the WHOLLLLEEE town? Well today I'm going to be one of those people because I can comfortably say that, indeed, I have been to all the Indian restaurants in town. I wouldn't call that an accomplishment considering there isn't a sprawling Indian community in Colorado Springs with Tikka Masala takeout at every corner. There are merely a handful of restaurants, none of which are conveniently located to me. But when I crave Indian food, I don't care how far I have to travel--I'm getting that curry and naan. Once I tried Shri Ganesh, I never bothered going back to the other places. This is THE best Indian food in town (no, really!). Their samosas are the size of baseballs and are the best I've had--anywhere. Perfectly crispy on the outside, full of flavor on the inside. I order them every time (the appetizer comes with two). The Navratan Korma is so good it nearly brings me to tears. The garlic naan is so perfectly warm and chewy. Is it pricey? A bit I suppose, but I think of it as buying two meals per entree since it's so much food, especially when you consider the rice and naan. The quality alone is worth every penny. The ambience of the restaurant is very nice, great for date nights (though I've always gone alone or ordered takeout). Customer service has always been pleasant, no complaints there either. It's not the place if you're looking for a "quick" bite to eat. Good food takes time! Overall, it's an easy 5 stars. No question. More...
Come for the food, stay for the belly dancing! Love, love, love this place. Been a fan since they opened. Everyone is so helpful and attentive.
This is our go to Indian spot in the area. All sauces are very thick and rich, not watered down like most Indian places. The naan is very thick and tasty.
Excellent all around!
Mine and my boyfriend's favorite place!
Priced a little high but wonderful food and amazing staff.
This is the best Indian Food in the area. Such amazing food and service
The food is good, but a bit too hot(spicy). The Mango Lassie is quite sour.

Fantastic curry and Indian fare
Thursday night offers the Buffet. A good variety and very tasty. Best naan I've had anywhere!
Their lunch buffet is incredible. Everything they set out is delicious, rotating items every time I am there. It makes it easy to try their various dishes, they recently set out a vegetable curry that might be one of my new favorite dishes they have.
The server was so accommodating to our food allergy issues. He even made something in a different way for us. The service was excellent and very friendly and helpful! The food always is amazing!! Will definitely go back a lot! More...
Went for the buffet. It was better than expected. Chicken and lamb were tender. The spice level is just where I like it (on the hotter side). Clean. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Very different than the other big name place in town. I give the edge (by a lot) to Shri Ganesh. More...
What you need to know:The service and pace of the meal was very well done. The wait staff was kind and attentive. They brought food out at good intervals, and everything was nicely presented. The food was very, very good. The naan was light and well-"poofed", and it was served brushed with butter. Delicious. The mango lassi was very well executed, and the gobi pakora was perfectly fried and warm when it came out. We also had lamb korma and sweet potato masala, both of which were vibrant and fragrant. Flavors were complex but easy to consume! Great place! More...
If I could give 10 stars I would. This little gem at the north end of Colorado springs, is worth the trip. The service was impeccable. The food...there are no words. Best Indian in town. Don't be shocked at the prices, the food is more than worth it. Always tastes very fresh and everything I've had is delicious. Holy moly, where do I start.... This place offered some of the best Indian I've ever had with the exception of when I visited London. But seriously, try this place. It's a little pricey but the flavor and quality of the food is worth the extra money. There was a group of us and all got different things and tried everything and ever single item was delicious. I ordered the lamb saag and the lamb was tender and the spinach was creamy and flavorful. Husband got the chicken Tikka masala and the medium was quite spicy but he liked that, the flavor was great but it was a little spicy for me. Their garlic Naan is a must!! Tried our friends butter chicken and that was fabulous as well. It seems you just can't go wrong here. Yuummm will definitely be back More...

Indian restaurant in Colorado Springs Had to try it and so glad I did!!! The chicken tikka was extremely spicy just the way I like it and omg the naan the best naan ever!!! Very fluffy and soft not too thick just perfect!! I just didn't like the paneer pakora it was too plain it had no taste I suggested to the cook they should make the paneer thinner and had chutni in the middle of the paneer and then fry it.. it would that's a lot better and give it a good kick! This place is owner operated brother and sister. Their mom cane to our table to talk to us about to food i told her about the paneer pakora and so she told her son the cook and got it removed form our bill! Very nice of her! I even ordered 2 chicken tikka to go to take back to Back to Dallas! ... hope I get a chance to go there again More...
In The Springs for a night. Craving some Indian food and what did I find? Shri Ganesh! Thursday night dinner buffet with belly dancing. Not a bad way to spend the evening. And wow, the food was outstanding. Do you hear me...it was phenomenal. Next time I come to up here, I'll be back. More...
I'd say this is the #2 Indian restaurant in town.* We ate from the buffet. The samosas were very good. The other dishes were good but lacked spice. Same goes for the chai. The service was good. I came on Saturday around 1 and there were only three other parties. *Little Nepal is #1 imo. More...
Shri Ganesh is my favorite Indian buffet restaurant. They have all my beloved dishes and more. The options are normally the same but sometimes there are new things to try. They have great Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, samosas, and a spicy chicken curry if you're up for the heat. My favorite veggie dish is their Saag Paneer. The lunch buffet price is the most calorie for your buck option, just over $10. I wouldn't come for their dinner since it's the same food but way more costly. Service is average. If you know Indus Modern Indian Kitchen, they have better service certainly, but they are not a buffet. If you need an Indian dinner option, go to Indus off Voyager. Blessings!Update 1 Dec 18: I finally came for a Thursday evening buffet. Wow! The food was delicious as usual and had new dishes I haven't had - korma, goat curry, and awesome vegetarian dishes. I'm not interested in the belly dancer though. I find it too loud to have conversation with the person next to you and inappropriate. My one other critique is the price. With tip, the dinner costed over $25. For the same price, you could eat 2.5 weekday lunch buffets or 4 dinners at Indus off Voyager. Cheers! More...
Went for the dinner buffet. Amazing service, great selection of food, and reasonably priced.
Never disappointed. Amazing, bold flavors. Our favorite is the butter chicken, much more complex than similar restaurants. Getting it medium brings it to a whole different level. Service and food to table were extremely quick. Yummy as always!! Be back soon! More...

This was the best Indian/Nepalese resturant we tried during our 5 day stay in Colo sprigs area. Pros: 1) Its located conveniently off I25 ext 153. 2) Its spacious and well maintained. Their ambience is amazing. 3)Fabulos food- Their ginger neembu ras (drink), Navratan Korma, Paneer Saag, Paratha, Butter chicken are fabulous. 4) Clean and hygienic restrooms. 5) Servers were warm and friendly.Give it a shot if you love indian food and are visiting Denver and Colo springs area.Cons 1) It's expensive compared to other indian restaurants 2) Vegetarian food is better than Non Vegetarian. Perhaps the best Indian food I had in the US so far. There is a reason this restaurant is sold out everyday. The gamut of food in each course - appetizers, main course, dessert is simply superb
The vegetable dishes were really good. The chicken curry smells like a diaper. The service was good. I will be back but only to eat vegetarian dishes. It was not cheap though
Just stopped in after not coming here for way too long and had the lunch buffet yesterday. I wasn't sure if I could possibly eat anything more for the rest of the day! Being newly Vegan I couldn't have a few of my old favorites, like coconut curry, but it didn't matter as I had plenty of other delicious choices! Fantastic lunch hour price for thoughtfully crafted authentic (and unlimited) food in a clean and aesthetically pleasing setting. Raj makes you feel so welcome and greets you with a smile and hug that is just another part of what makes this a great place for lunch of dinner, worth the drive if you live further south in town! My wife and I love a good Indian spot. We have had the opportunity to have great bran food in many different places, including 3-4 other spots here in CO Springs. By far, Shri Ganesh is the best spot in this city. With complex and deep flavor, these dishes do not disappoint. We love the heat profile, it is perfect. Chicken Korma, and chicken TM are to die for. We have gotten this place to go, twice now and we are absolutely loving it! Must try! More...
Shri Ganesh always treats me with immediate service and excellent manners. The take-out is phenomenal and the dine-in experience incredibly enjoyable. The food is quality, timely and offers a wide selection. I highly recommend coming here for a taste of India. More...
Good Indian food. Best in the area, but I'm also comparing them to places across the US, that I've eaten at. Also I ask for very spicy and they consistently hit the mark on the heat level. The service is great though both dine in and take out. I thought being brought a cup of chai once while I was waiting on takeout was a really nice touch.Update 10/27/2018: Quality and heat level of the food is still top notch! More...
Excellent buffet with great naan! I'll definitely be back.
Great dining experience! I ordered take out but wish we would have gone there to eat. Food was delicious! We had the lamb masala, vegetable curry, and naan assorted platter. Food was delicious. Staff was very friendly as well. More...
Buffet on Thursday night is delicious.
Being from the Uk, I can claim to like a good curry. Shri Ganesh is by far the best (authentic) Indian restaurant I have found in the US. Most Indian restaurants in the US are not good. These guys are an exception. More...
Great Indian food! Friendly staff.

I went there for a buffet. They had a good variety of indian food and nepalese food at a decent price. The food was fresh ans tasted good. I would definitely go there again.
Outstanding lunch buffet. Good range of vegetarian and meat options. Naan was fresh out of the oven. Service was absolutely top notch.
Good quality food, attentive staff. We ordered lots of dishes for family style dining, worked out great for kids and adults.
Everything we've had from here is great!
Lovely ambience.. delicious food.. Awesome experience..
I saw the reviews saying that the food is expensive, but I didn't think it was that much more expensive than other areas where I travel. This is especially important given that I *loved their food*! Portion sizes are good and I was perfectly happy. In fact, I liked it so much, I'm planning on coming back tomorrow for lunch! LOLUpdate: Came back for lunch and was just as happy. In fact, they had gajar al halwa (carrot pudding) on the menu and it was great. I prefer when they add raisins to it, but this was just fine. More...
The food here is SO YUMMY!! Definitely not the cheapest, but totally worth it for a date night or special occasion. The staff is really nice, the restaurant looks great with nice tablecloths, chair covers, & wine glasses. Definitely will be coming here again! More...
I've ordered take out from here and had their Lunch Buffet - the buffet was good - they were constantly running out of the crowd favorites though, but I always consider that a good thing. The food was flavorful, fresh, and the naan bread was to die for. The take out was exceptional - and they give you so much food it is well worth it, I got 3 meals out of it. Minus one start for the simple fact that their service, although good, needs improvement. More...
Such a beautiful little place. And the food was very delicious! They serve it family style and more than enough to share and have leftovers. I'll be back.
Found this location on yelp and well it was the only Indian restaurant open at the time but had good reviews so went for it. Let me tell you they did not disappoint! Ordered the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan and it was DELICIOUS. Great staff working there and made sure everything was perfect. The only funny thing I found was they were charging $6 for a 12 oz beer but nevertheless the food was tasty. Service was quick and the food was amazing! More...
This is a very nice restaurant in the north end of town. I had the buffet and it was splendid! The atmosphere is nice, with an almost upscale feel. I will definitely be partaking in the buffet again soon. If you're up there and hungry, go, try it. I do not think you will regret it. The food was very good, and the waitress were very nice More...
I am so glad we tried this place. The best Indian food in Colorado in my opinion. Lots of flavor and spice! I have tried almost all the indian restaurants in Colorado springs and this one is my favorite. We used to live in Los Angeles and Chicago so I am used to great food which CS lacks. This place is a gem! We had buffet, service was very good and this place is very clean. I do keto diet and figured I will eat only keto friendly items on the buffet but everything looked so good, I could not follow my diet at this place. Thank you for bringing great recipes to our town. My wife and I would give six stars if we could. The owners are lovely, and wanted to make sure that all of the service and food was to our liking. We haven't been this excited about a new restaurant in a very long time. We highly recommend Shri Ganesh to anyone in the area. More...
I wanted to try India food specifically butter chicken. Stopped by for lunch but the price was $17, didn't need to eat that much for lunch. As I was leaving I was asked why, told them I wanted to try butter chicken, didnt want $17 of butter chicken. I was told to stay and they would make a half order. The food was amazing and the customer service excellent. Would highly recommend it More...
Best Indian in Colorado Springs easily, we've been coming since the day they got their beer and wine license and have yet to order something off the menu we don't like. The Lamb Saag and Chicken Bhuna are probably our favorite, but we've ordered just about everything else at some point and have never been disappointed. We do most of our celebratory dinners here. Well run by friendly people. Easiest 5 stars in the Springs! More...
Food was super delicious... fresh and a perfect blend of spices... The staff are very friendly and helpful... The owner is a sweet lady... Overall 10/10 experience
My family and I usually go here to just eat some of their Na’an bread, as it is quite delicious! The service is great and I’d highly recommend you go here if you would like to try some good Indian food! The place is always clean and the staff are always kind! More...
Best Indian lunch buffet I've been to in the Springs. There are plenty of buffet choices and they do a good job rotating in new items while leaving the classics like chicken tikka masala. At $10 it very reasonably priced
If you are on the fence, go in for their lunch buffet. it was really good! all the foods were super flavorful, the staff was kind even to a first timer.
A wonderful place, all around!
Great food & service. Best Indian buffet in the Springs.
Love the food and the people, as well as the service! My family and I just moved here and we were looking for a good Indian go-to restaurant that could match our old one (The Taj Mahal III up in Louisville in Northern Colorado, which I would also highly recommend) -- and thanks to Shri Ganesh, we've found one! P.S. if there was a higher rating than 5 stars, I would totally give it!Update: still my favorite Indian place down here. So sad to see that yet again this place was vandalized. I hope sincerely that the police will track these saboteurs down. More...
Excellent food and very friendly service. Great lunch buffet.
Good Indian food point in Colorado Spring. I tried 2 of them and I liked Sri Ganesha better than the other. The only thing is that they charge for a very little kids as well like of 4 years old kid.
Awesome food and excellent service! The staff was very attentive and friendly, and the food was fresh and very tasty. The lunch buffet is 10 bucks and totally worth it! Such delicate flavors.
good food but service is little late...
One of my favorite lunch places! The buffet is always amazing, never the same, and the vegetarian options are plentiful! The staff is always friendly and you can't beat the price for how much food we usually eat here. Highly recommend to anyone looking to try Indian food for the first time, or someone looking for better Indian options than downtown! More...
Absolutely by far my favorite restaurant. Its a huge treat when I get to go. Friendly service and amazing atmosphere and fantastic food!
Amazing ! Absolutely the best Indian restaurant in Colorado Springs !
I am wowed by this Indian food. Incredible and tasty food. This place really wowed me.
This restaurant had fantastic food and even better service!! My family and I enjoyed our meal. We will be back!
Food Is amazing, good portion and very friendly..
This is a family owned and operated restaurant. The food is consistently fantastic. It is clean and you won't find nicer, hard-working people who want your visit to be perfect.
Nice buffet. Great naan bread.
My favorite is the Thursday night buffet. The food is very fresh and very tasty. Love the vegetarian samosas, and I love the saag paneer. The restaurant is new, has a very nice atmosphere and decor, and is very clean. The service is very pleasant, very friendly and efficient. Recommend highly! More...

Great food and very friendly servers. Definitely one of best Indian experiences in colorado springs. If you like it hot, they step up to the plate...wow!
Nicely decorated and good hospitality if a bit old fashioned. Enjoyed the buffet. But I personally HATED the belly dancing. It's weird and awkward while eating in a family restaurant, to have a woman gyrating next to the buffet, who you're then supposed to tip. I was there for a friend's bday and would NOT go again when the belly dancer is there. I hated that. That should only be after 10 pm entertainment in my view, and NOT while I'm eating. More...

Good for Indian foods. it of options we have here
Had Indian all over the world. Top 5. Even back in Colorado springs will be back. Mint chutney might be the best ever.

Taste is good but prices are on higher side
Food has always been excellent, staff is amazing!!
Went here for the first time tonight. My boyfriend's family was in town and his sister is a vegetarian so we figured it was a good option. Let me tell you, we made the right decision. Service was amazing, we never had an empty glass. The food was also very good. The chef delivers it directly to the table which is also very fun. The samosas were a bit large. I would prefer them to be more bite sized. However, that will not stop me from recommending Shri Ganesh! More...
Very good food and very clean environment.Well mannered staff and always ready to help. Best delivery options. Huge variety and selection of food. Go ahead and enjoy the food.

I would eat here every night if I could afford it! The wait staff is so friendly, and the owner is awesome! Every time we're there he comes by to check in on us to make sure everything tastes good. This was the first place I've ever had Indian food and I've loved every bite of it. I'll keep coming here as long as they're open! More...
I would give Shri Ganesh more than 5 stars but the rating system only goes to 5. My wife and I have been looking for a good restaurant where we could enjoy Cuisine of India & Nepal every since we moved to Colorado. We found just that perfect restaurant today. We have dined on Cuisine of India in many parts of the United States (California, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, Florida, New York, New Mexico and Texas). In England, Ireland, Spain and other European countries, the far East. This has to be the best ever and I mean ever in my life. We extend our best wishes to Raj and Sonu, you have created a master piece! We will return that's for sure and will tell everyone we know! More...
Delicious curry and naan, and we loved the live bellydancing!
Shri Ganesh has the best Indian food. It’s so good every time we go to eat. The chicken Tikka masala and tandoori chicken are our favorites. The naan bread assortment is a must. Fresh and hot. So delicious. The staff is wonderful too! You must give this place a try!! More...
Delicious! A little pricey, but large servings of great food.

Best Indian food buffet in town. Delicious.
I had tried their buffets, their jalfrezi, and their chat appetizers in the past, and loved them all. But I had never had a full tandoori (chicken) plate. This tandoori was the best I'd ever had, even exceeding a great tandoori place in Las Vegas. We'll be back. More...

Great lunch buffet. Tandoori chicken was spot on. Not dried out like so many places. Ambiance and Indian music are just right. Nice staff and good service.
Fantastic! Best Indian cuisine in the city!
Fantastic food! We ate lunch and opted for the buffet that was $10.99! The food was freshly made and tasted wonderful. I recommend the food even if you have never had Indian food!
Nice buffet. Naan was nice fresh and soft. Samosa had good amount of stuffing. Nepalese chicken kabob was actually gravy like. Overall good service and ambiance.

Wife's favorite Indian restaurant so far.
What an experience. From the moment I walked in, to the moment I left, I felt so welcomed and like family. The staff was very friendly, efficient, and ready to take care of us. I don't eat Indian food ever, and this was a new experience so I was hesitant, but they knocked it out of the park! And their sweet naan bread was absolutely delicious, particularly with a fresh cup of Chai to finish the meal. They even had live music (every 2nd Saturday) that was relaxing and yet changed to upbeat with Eastern and Western music melded together by Bruce (guitarist) and Kris (beats, voice, and beauty). The owners, Raj and Sony, came to speak with us, per our request, and were excellent hosts, and we had great conversation.I will absolutely be back. If you are on the fence about coming, definitely give them a try, you wont be disappointed!! More...

Best value and best food in the area. Love this place!
Food is great!
We tried delivery as our first time and everything was piping hot when it arrived. Everything was excellent but the Butter Chicken won the day!
Great Service and great food!
Excellent lunch buffet and great service. Try the coffee!
Best. Food. Ever. I still can't get over! :)
I have been in three times for lunch buffet and every time was terrific. Excellent fresh food, delicious Naan, and VERY reasonably priced. Their Chai is to die for. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. I can totally recommend it. Enjoy!! More...
I've had my fair share of authentic Indian food (i.e. from friends & co-workers who have immigrated here from India; my twin sister's boyfriend is from India & his whole family loves cooking), and I can honestly say this is the best Indian food place in the Springs BY FAR.Someone I work with knows the owner personally (and both my friend and the owner are from India, which is awesome), so we got to tour the kitchen when we went there & the cooks were very kind in showing us how they prepare all the food. It takes hours to completely prep and prepare just one batch! That's why it takes them a while to get food out & that's why customers have to wait sometimes for food to come out. They don't just throw a pre-made package of sauce into some reheated packaged veggies & call it good. Everything is made FROM SCRATCH. Some of the bad reviews point out that it takes a while to get food sometimes, but this is why! If you want the true, authentic experience, then you may have to wait for your food. (Believe me. Ask any native - prepping & preparing food is not a quick, simple process). They take the utmost care in providing the best & tastiest Indian food to customers. And you can truly taste the difference. I was disappointed by the samosas and chicken tikka masala at Little Nepal and Mirch Masala. The flavor was lacking in every dish and the buffets were tiny... And not to diss other local restaurants (because you should support local restaurants whenever you can!), but Indian cuisine should be full of spice & flavor & zest. You should be 'wowed' when you first take a bite. And you unfortunately don't get that at most of the Indian restaurants in the Springs; of course, Shri Ganesh is the exception. I LOVED Shri Ganesh and their amazing food and the constantly-friendly service. I didn't even know this place existed until yesterday and a huge hole I'm my heart has been filled. You better believe I will be back for the lunch buffet!! More...
Excellent food, both in flavor and variety. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!
Really nice indian food, plain parathas are the best! good atmosphere n ambiance. very friendly staff and service. we went for lunch as well as dinner on same day(which happened for the first time with us)
Nice folks and staff. The place is very clean and kept. We have gone to the Thursday buffet a couple of times and they have a nice variety of selections. The international beer choices were also nice to see. Food tended to be hot and fresh, but some was a bit on the dry side. Overall nice to have an Indian option on the north side of town. More...

Good selection of food and good prices. Very clean restaurant.
Going to the buffet and seeing the belly dancer is fun on Thursday night. The food is good. Not the best I've ever had, but not the worst, by far. I got the saag paneer, which was nice and creamy. It had a good texture. I don't care for the ones that have stringy spinach. My husband got the lamb korma and enjoyed it very much. We also got the garlic naan. It's the "fluffiest" naan I've ever had, but it's good. When we had the buffet, there seemed to be good choices. They had gobi manchurian, which I've never had before and became a bit obsessed with it. However, I did not see it on their regular menu when I returned on a night that was not buffet style. Ambiance is nice. The service is great. The staff has always been super friendly. More...

I have nothing but praise for Shri Ganesh! The food was excellent - all so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Service was also stellar. I took my dad for the dinner buffet and sampled everything on the hot bar. There is absolutely nothing I wouldn't have ordered as an individual dish, but I think I was most impressed by the lamb curry. I ordered the meat combo platter to bring home for the hubs and, of course, had to sample the meat samosa (buffet had veggie, which were fabulous) and the chicken pakora. Oh. My. Goodness. We will definitely be back - quite regularly I believe. More...

Wow! Chicken Jalfrezi and Chicken Kafka? Yes! I really like this place. It's my new go to Indian near home. The chicken jalfrezi was so good. Tandoori wings great. The only thing is I wish the naan was thinner but aside from that this place is a great spot. Family owned, and really great staff and service. Lassi's are really good here. Sometimes I think it can be too thick but it was great here. More...
We went for a first time visit today and tried the lunch buffet. The food and the variety of choices, including condiments, were excellent! The staff were friendly and courteous. We will definitely be returning. More...
Can we talk about how amazing this restaurant is?!? The service is superb and the food can't be beat! Hands down best Indian restaurant in Colorado Springs. The naan is out of this world.

My wife and I visited Shri Ganesh for a date night as we both love Indian Food and this place did not disappoint! We were greeted and seated right away and offered drinks. After reviewing the comprehensive menu, which is broken down by style, we decided on the vegetarian samosa as an appetizer. Wow, these things are freaking HUGE and at 2 per order they are extremely filling. The flavor was complex with traditional spices and paired with spicy sauce, these are savory and addicting. Because one cannot live on samosas alone (although you probably could) we placed our entree order. My wife ordered the Butter Chicken with a mild-medium spice level while I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo at a medium-hot spiciness. Both are served with basmati rice but we also ordered regular naan bread. The BC sauce was thick, creamy, and intense with garam masala, cumin, and cardamom spices. the spice level could have been higher but it allowed the spices shine without being muted by heat. The CV highlighted the clove, cinnamon, cardamom, and coriander. I could have used more heat thus my docking of one-star. I asked for the staff's recommendation on spice level and was told the Hot was "extremely spicy" and therefore wanted to back off slightly due to this being our first time. The rice was perfectly spices and aromatic. The naan bread was freshly made with a crispy exterior and soft interior. The entree portions are massive and allowed us leftovers to take home which will be eagerly devoured. Overall impression: Shri Ganesh is fantastic and an excellent spot for both newcomers to Indian cuisine as well as "old-timers" due to their menu variety. Their staff is helpful and friendly and will help you with recommendations. During the entire dinner my glass never reached 1/2 empty before it was promptly refilled. They also will do take-out which I will be taking advantage of quite often now since Shri Ganesh is on my drive home!To the owners: Thank you for a wonderful dinner on a rare date night where my wife and I can be child-free. We will be back! More...

We were a party of 7 on a time crunch to get to the airport. The staff let me pre order and had the appetizers out ASAP with the delicious main dishes quick to follow. The server was attentive and helpful. Now the food was pretty amazing with the tanadori salmon being one of the group's favorites. The hot dishes were hot not medium and the less spicy ones were seasoned just right for those less brave. The noodles were a new item I tried and they were a nice change from all the traditional Indian food I eat and prepare. They nailed the classics and chai was perfect. Can't wait to return to Colorado and wish they were here in Seattle. Thanks for making my son's graduation dinner yummy! Go Airforce! More...
Lunch special was awesome. For $11 its a great deal. Ice Tea is sub par... just don't get that.
To respond to one of the other reviews: You're eating from a buffet (necessarily tailored to the average person)...in the US...and comparing it to Asia. Also, $10 for all you can eat delicious and healthy food? Maybe you would prefer Golden Corral. For the other bad reviews listed out here, I have to say I don't believe them. I come here at least once a week since they first opened, and I have never, ever, had any issues with the food. If you have doubts, come during the buffet and ask Raj, Sonu, or any of the staff about the dishes. They are proud of and excited about their food. If you come during the non-buffet hours, some entres may not be available because they were popular and have sold out. This is what you should expect from a quality restaurant. They're not pulling a bag of frozen food out and dumping it into the deep fryer. They are using fresh ingredients. I am a huge fan and have never had anything I did not like. To you one star reviewers: You are a statistical anomaly and no one, NO ONE, is going to believe that every other review is wrong and you represent the true experience. Take responsibility for your own issues, and if you aren't happy with the flavor, speed, or price of your food, please invite all of us to your restaurant so we can see how it's done. Personal recommendations:Indian coffee - oh so goodChili chickenChicken tikka masalaNaan, naan, and more Naan ( I once took 3 orders home with me for later that evening and for breakfast). ------------Favorite comments from crappy reviews:"We only ate like 10% of the food and they still charged us 100%." - Ummmm, welcome to what I like to call 'eating in a restaurant'. Maybe this is a new experience for you."We said then you should have told us before taking our order, we could have gone somewhere else and he raised questions on our religion". - I can't roll my eyes any harder than I am at this moment. I think I may have caused permanent damage. You sir, have issues, and it's nothing to do with Shri Ganesh."By 6am I was on the Toilet for the next 16 hours." - Look, what you do for fun is your own business. ------------ More...
The best food I have eaten since moving to Colorado from Florida. Excellent service! So delicious, will be going again!
We had a great experience. The family opted to stop in and catch the lunch buffet based upon great Yelp scores and reviews. We were not disappointed. The food was fresh and tasted great. Service was wonderful from top management to the front line. I cannot wait to go back next time we are in Colorado Springs. More...
I happened to be in town on. Thursday night, the only night they do their buffet so I decided to give it a try and was very happy I did. A rare time I did not take a picture because I made a big plate and dove right in. Everything was delicious and there was a good variety. I got there a little after 6 and the food looked very fresh, the restaurant was packed and they also have a beautiful belly dancer, maybe she cane out around 6:30. The customers loved her. There were several meats on the buffet including an unusual chili chicken (spicy) that I had never had, a masala chicken, tandoori chicken and curry goat. The vegetarian dishes were all worthy of seconds and one of my favorite things was the carrot pudding, absolutely delicious. They also brought you fresh naan and for $17.99 this was a great meal and a great deal. More...

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Springs and definitely the best Indian Restaurant. A friendly and family atmosphere. Everything obviously made fresh and from scratch. We dine in or carry out several times a month. A MUST try. More...
Shri Ganesh is my favorite Indian food restaurant in Colorado Springs! Warm and welcoming staff take great care of you. And their food is simply amazing! The mix of rich flavors in every dish make you to want to come back for more. Their lunch time buffets are best time to try out the menu and everything tastes so good. My husband and hadn't eaten here in about 6 weeks and after eating lunch there today I couldn't believe we had been away so long.Try the carrot pudding (best dessert), and veggie or chicken korma are very flavorful as well. Really, everything is scrumptious. They had a dish (Chat something) that was like Indian loaded baked potato casserole. Wow! More...
Fantastic - great atmosphere and good for people new to Indian food - gracious waiters who explain what everything is
The food is very good but inconsistent. However even when inconsistent it is still good. Sometimes the sauce is soupy and others just the right thickness. Same goes with the veggies - at times you get a good variety and others it is like you got the leftovers in the bottom of the pan with little to no or the cheapest veggies (bell peppers, no calciferous veggies). The naan bread is the best we have had in COS, but it is better when you dine in though. More...
