What inspired you to start your own business?
I was a police officer who had to retire due to injury. I was unable to continue my career in law enforcement so I wanted to use my training, experience and knowledge to continue to help people. My favorite assignment was in investigations where I spent several years. Problem solving, building cases, and uncovering evidence was an aspect of the job I was always drawn to and an area where I excelled.
I followed my passion for investigations and started my private investigations business.

Shoup Investigation Services specializes in locating people for various reasons. There are clients who are looking for lost connections or missing family members.
