I used Emma to capture my Aunt's 80th Birthday party. We could not be happier with the results. Emma captured the day beautifully. On the day Emma arrived on-time, was courteous to all the guests, during the event it was almost as if she wasn't there. Emma moved around the room capturing great pictures of all the guests. We then moved onto planned group shots, Emma was very patient, being that many of the guests were of a certain age and a little slow on there feet. I would recommend Emma and Shotgun Weddings in a heartbeat! Emma captured the day so beautifully. She was discreet and invisible most of the time. We asked for candid photographs that would capture the day and Emma delivered. Choosing a wedding photographer can be daunting as the images and your memories are what is left once the day has flown by. I can look at the photographs and remember exactly how I felt at that moment in time. Fantastic value for money and definitely worth every penny. Emma took the most fantastic photos of a family group of 9 people to celebrate a significant birthday. The photos were a mixture of posed and natural photos all with iconic Brighton backdrops. We have just received our wedding photographs that were taken by Emma Joanne, shotgun weddings & we are completely over the moon. I looked though a few websites of different photographers and Emma's work, for us, stood out above everyone else. Emma was our photographer at our wedding in April at the Grand Hotel in Brighton. She was truly amazing, and she made our special day something we can remember for years to come through her awesome photographs - her pictures are so natural and just stunning! She was great throughout the day, and made us all feel so relaxed. We had so many compliments from our guests about her and the photographers when they came through - plus the photo booth in the evening which was fun and something extra for people to remember our special day. Omg what can I say?? Thank you so much for being so awesome!We were lucky enough to have Emma photograph our wedding and honestly she did such an amazing job. I've had friends and family members tell me ours are the best wedding photos they've seen. I am usually quite camera shy but Emma made me feel really comfortable and made me feel like she was just another one of our friends taking photos of our day. She did this while also remaining very professional which I can't imagine is an easy balance to strike but she did it! She captured so many images of people smiling with their whole faces and genuinely having a nice time. We felt at ease with Emma at Shotgun Weddings from the moment we met her. She was interested in what we wanted and really listened. We were impressed with the photos she showed us from her previous work.Before the day itself she went through the detail of what we wanted as well as giving advice on what would work, group shots and timing. We felt completely reassured in advance that everything would go to plan - so one thing less to worry about - which is quite important with all the other preparation that is going on.On our Wedding Day, Emma arrived on time and everything went really smoothly. We didn't notice she was there as she took shots before and during the ceremony and during the reception. She captured lots of natural looking shots throughout the day, showing our guests having fun and laughing. These are brilliant reminders of a fantastic day. Many of our guests have remarked how professional and fun she was. She gave us plenty of time after the ceremony before taking the group shots, which were done quickly and efficiently whilst still being lots of fun. We don't see ourselves as a conventional couple and we didn't really want a traditional wedding photographer .We were looking for a photographer who would provide something different and quirky whilst capturing the romance and fun of our day (and of course make us look good )! !
We knew when we met Emma that she fitted the bill.She listened to what we wanted and provided everything that we asked for .
Emma was with us for the day and the evening event .We hardly knew she was there yet she captured so many magic moments and memories.
We opted for the photobooth in the evening ,mainly to entertain the kids whilst the adults enjoyed our Entertainers act which lets say wasnt suitable for kids !! Emma was so patient and accomodating throughout - a true professional !
We were absolutely delighted with our photographs .Emma captured the essence of our amazing day and the photographs are just fantastic.
