With an extraordinary setting on the Norwalk, CT harbor, this friendly, low key, great boating, swimming, tennis club is getting better every year. The food could use improvement but it is OK. The pretty Binnacle Room, newly updated, has become extremely noisy and I don't know if it is the acoustics in the room or the guests talking too loud. Our daughter was married at the Shore and Country Club last Saturday. It couldn't have gone better. Of course the location is absolutely beautiful. But a truly memorable event would not happen without hard work. The staff at The Shore and Country Club is TOP NOTCH - So helpful and thoughtful and hard working. The banquet manager Cherese worked with us for a year leading up to the event AND then was there to make everything go well during the wedding. Many of our guests remarked how delighted they were with the venue and that Cherese had personally helped them. I will give a 5 star review here, but wish I could give more stars!
