Rob is an amazing photographer! He captured the spirit and life of our wedding day amazingly. We have many beautiful pictures that we will spend the rest of our lives looking back on. Our guests are not only raving about the pictures but they also really got on with Rob and reacted well to him at our wedding which was the key to getting all the great photos he did. On the day itself he couldn't have been more helpful! He not only acted as my photographer but also gave me great advice on how to run the day, drawing from his vast experience. The pictures were delivered in a beautiful style on a personalized DVD with a slideshow video presentation put together, we couldn't believe all the care and attention he put into our pictures and our day. We trailed through a sea of photographers as we were extremely meticulous in finding the right person before picking Rob to shoot our wedding. We right away caught on to his artistic approach, appreciation for photography and most importantly his eye for capturing emotion. We felt his photos were vibrant and real, and come rain or shine we thought he would get the best shots. Having had an engagement shoot in the rain, and a wedding in the sunshine we got to really test him out.
Rob did an excellent job on getting bright colourful engagement photos… an real achievement considering how appalling the weather was coupled with the extra complexity of working with our dog Gruffi.
The wedding was just as successful, we have not seen all the photos yet- but he did share a preview and the floods of compliments have not stopped coming in. He was great to work with and made us, our guests, our families.. and the dog feel completely at ease (and believe me we were a tough crowd with tight deadlines!). At the end of the wedding experience, what’s left is the photos… for us that was the single most important expenses of the day, and I am so glad we were able to work with such a professional like Rob. We would recommend him over and over again and have no doubt every single time we look at the photos of our wedding day, we will feel all those emotions once again. Thank you so much! More...

We would like to say a huge thank you to Rob #shootinghip for spending our wedding day 22/4/17 with us to shoot what we know will be some truly stunning photographs.
From beginning to end, he made us and our guests feel so at ease with his friendly relaxed approach. Pick a photographer they say ............. well you may as well close your eyes and point at the screen there are so many to filter through. Pictures are such an important part of the day as they are your memories and we were lucky and got it right with picking Rob. He captured our day so lovely (shed a few tears watching the slide show) with all the lovely little moments, it really was like reliving the day all over again with how he tells the story for you in the pictures. He's also a funny guy to have around and was even offering gardening advice to my family on the day (I did wonder why my step mum was googling slug pellets after the meal hahaha) so yeh what can I say he's a good one!!!!!! We cannot recommend Rob highly enough - he was a pleasure to work with from start to finish & the photos are absolutely beautiful. He made us feel so at ease on the day whilst still capturing everything. He took the time to meet with us before the day to talk about what we wanted & was really accommodating, even getting up a ladder to try to get a group shot for us!! Our guests were very complimentary about him & commented on his lovely relaxed approach whilst still being highly organised. My now husband is not a fan of having his picture taken, so when tasked with choosing a photographer for our wedding day, it was really important that we both felt completely at ease with the person who was going to share our special day! We were initially drawn to Rob's website. His warm and open personality shone through immediately. We thought his work was pretty impressive too! We weren't interested in stilted and impersonal shots, we wanted the pictures to be fun and natural. Rob didn't disappoint.. We were over the moon with the results and cannot recommend him enough. “Stunning”, “amazing”, “incredible”. All words I would use to describe the huge allotment-grown courgettes that Rob gave me and the courgette connoisseur I now call my wife after our pre-wedding shoot. The quality of the courgettes was only eclipsed by the quality of Rob’s photos, from both the pre-wedding shoot and the big day itself. Rob’s relaxed and professional manner really helped me, my wife and our guests feel at ease. As someone who – when photographed - typically has that awkward, shifty look usually seen only in police photo-fits, I was so pleased with our formal photos. Overall Rob (and his assistant Darren) really managed to capture the mood of our entire day with some truly memorable shots. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. More...

Rob and his assistant, Darren, were our wedding photographers at Hampton Court House last year. They were fantastic throughout the day; from the initial photos of the bridal party getting ready, to the photos at the church, to the reception and on to the dance floor! They managed to capture the smallest details of the day, being attentive and personable around young and old, family and friends, capturing shots we would never have thought of. Every part of the day was documented perfectly and the end results were just as impressive. This included a nice photo montage to backing music which was an unexpected extra!

We can thoroughly recommend Rob and if budgets allow, would definitely recommend Darren or another assistant to be there as well to capture a greater variety of angles and possible pictures. Many thanks! More...
