What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Speak to the crowd. By this I mean ask your host what music they like. Then as you play songs they requested ask the crowd to request music they want to listen to and mix it in. Most folks who attend the gathering will like similar music or they wouldn't be friends.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Freestyle. I use effects and back spins to mix music you never thought could go together. I use fast and slow tempo to match Beats Per Minute to make it work.
What do you love most about your job?
Creating moments in time for my clients. I've had the pleasure of creating an atmosphere where my clients cry tears of joy to group hugs while playing Piano Man. Every moment has it's place and I know how to create that moment.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It just sorta happened. No one wanted to play music at a house party while in college. Guess what I was the guy who didn't socialize much so I played the music. Folks digged it and I was hired to do more as the yrs went by.
Why should our clients choose you?
I listen to what you want. I can provide what you need any dj can. A pair of speakers, lights, mic and music. But I provide what you want. You want to create a slideshow? Want to do Karaoke? Want to do a march? Want to create a surprise dance? I can and have done it.
