Cuisine from Shine The Chef for our wedding was absolutely flavorful, fresh, and memorable! So many of our guests mentioned how delicious the food was, even days after. Two of the most important requirements for food at our wedding were quality and affordability. I wasn’t sure if I’d find any caterer in the area who could do that, especially planning a wedding in a different state, but Shawn made that possible. You have to get his empanadas! The herb roasted chicken and steak were scrumptious. His passion for food really showed through not only in his cooking, but in the way he carried himself as well. His focus was making sure that we didn’t have to worry about any food and beverage tasks or questions on our special day. For example, it was a rainy day, but he arrived well equipped to handle the catering smoothly. The whole experience with Shawn really meant the world to my husband and I as we had so much to juggle with. First of all, I’ve known the man for more than 20 years. Have always thought the world of him, but didn’t know of this gift. Shine first did a multi course private meal for me and my friends. I trusted him with the menu and he delivered in splendid fashion. He also prepared my roasted turkey, dressing and red velvet cake for Thanksgiving. Shine the Chef is definitely a cut above the rest. He prepares all of his dishes with pure heart and soul. His food is amazing! He catered a private dinner for my daughter’s birthday and everyone went crazy over how great and flavorful his dishes were. Let me not forget to mention this man makes THE BEST homemade red velvet cake that my family has ever tasted.
