I had many queries at random times running up to my wedding and she would always get back to me immediately! I made a friend in her which made the dressing-up excitement of my wedding events extra special! So much so that I had to stop myself from talking to her, so she can complete her masterpiece work!

Shindy and her assistant Farana were fantastic at my wedding last weekend. Shindy is so talented, I trusted her with all my saree drapings, hair & make-up and she really made my big day. Unlike other MUAs, Shindy created the glamorous bridal look whilst I still looked like me/natural!

Where do I begin! Being really into makeup you can imagine how fussy I would be choosing a makeup artist. After seeing Shindy’s work on instagram and Facebook I knew I wanted her to do my makeup if I ever was going to get married. I loved her flawless makeup, where her brides still looked liked themselves and that’s exactly what I wanted. In addition to the flawless look- I loved that she did makeup for all skin tone.

In June 2016 I got engaged, few weeks later we got a wedding date...guess what I booked first? My makeup artist and who was that? Yepppp ...Shindy! I called her up to tell her (even though Wayne aka now my husband beat me to it), I was nervous as I didn’t know if she would be free but thank God she was! So at the time I booked Shindy I didn’t know where I was going to get married, what my guests will eat, what I would wear or anything - but I know I will look amazing �

I had over 13 months to go until my wedding and I already started to send Shindy ideas to see what she thought. In March 2017 I went to india to get my saree and jewellery and I would message Shindy with pictures of my sarees and jewellery sets, it was so nice to work with someone that was on the same level as me in taste and style. It made things soooo easy. I then saw more and more of Shindy’s work throughout the year and felt more and more excited.

I went to Shindy’s house with my sarees and discussed flowers for my hair. My first saree was an orange and pink two tone saree, so we sat thinking what can we do differently and what would go with the saree. We had few ideas to work on, I then came home and thought ‘I should just let Shindy make my flowers’ and that’s what happened.

Just before my wedding makeup trial we managed to squeeze something exciting - the pre-shoot! We did it at the royal Albert hall and Shindy did an amazing 1940 look on me. My makeup stayed put all day and she got the look spot on from the hair to the eyeliner to the red lips. She was an amazing company to have on the day and was just such a fun day.

Few weeks before my wedding I had a makeup trial and I cannot explain how excited I felt after that trial. She did a full trial with my saree on and everything! I was amazed! I sent the photos to my mum and she was over the moon.

I know Shindy as friend but when she works she’s super professional- which I absolutely love. I definitely saw this on the day of my wedding. Shindy turned up at early hours of the morning and worked until the end. Bearing in mind she was a guest herself, she managed to get me ready and get herself ready at the end too. She was absolutely relaxed and super calm. I cannot even count the number of people who told me how amazing/stunning I looked. Everyone, including myself , absolutely loved my hair flowers. They all said how I looked like me and looked so flawless and that made me so happy as that’s exactly what I wanted!! I felt like a princess on my wedding day and couldn’t have asked for anything different. Also I would like to add the super fast koorai change she did!

Shindy, thank you so much for being such an amazing makeup artist. You are so creative and so so skilled. You are a perfectionist and this really shows in all your brides. Everyone should book you for their wedding !!! Keep doing what you’re doing � More...

I booked Shindy to help dress me and my bridal party at our wedding in early March 2017 and I cannot praise her highly enough. She was responsive throughout the run up and even met up with me beforehand to take a look at my sarees and discuss timing slots for dressing on the day. She arrived in good time for the agreed start time and was so calm and collected in what was otherwise a rather chaotic atmosphere with a tight timeline! Her saree tying skills are honed to absolute perfection and I was really happy with all three of my changes and felt really confident and happy with all of the looks I had on the day, thanks to Shindy. One of the most talented hair and makeup artist i have seen. Very talented and a hardworking makeup artist. She did makeup for my wedding and for my reception.
