Q&As

Having received Shiatsu for so many years I find that giving Shiatsu can be even better and it is such a joy to give Shiatsu. The success and change in receivers that one can achieve with Ki, mindfulness and intension is fascinating.

Shiatsu is my passion and it has and still is balancing my energy and helping me heal. I strongly believe Shiatsu can be helpful for so many more people and there for I am also working on raising the awareness of this great Japanese Healing Art.

I am a very good listener and am able to transform what I have been told is need from the treatment to give in my Shiatsu. I am compassionat for my receivers and the Shiatsu practice and have great respect for the art.

Services

Shiatsu is a Japanese/Chinese finger pressure art and healing practice. Literally translated it means 'Finger Pressure'.
Shiatsu works with principles and theories of the thousands of years old Traditional Chinese Medicine and the use of Ki to heal the body, mind and soul.

Ki as the life energy flows within the body. The flow of it is especially heightened in pathways called Meridians. Shiatsu practitioners work with Ki and heal through bringing the flow of Ki within the Meridians in balance. The practise consists of pressure with hand palm and finger pressure as well as joint rotations and stretches.

Shiatsu strengthens the body's own healing abilities. Therefore it is very effective to support the healing process
