Q&As

I love helping people and being a counsellor means I get to offer help and support to a range of people going through difficult time.

I wanted to create a service that's flexible and works for clients. My wish was to be able to provide a service that I would want myself.

It can be a challenging to find the right counsellor/therapist that works for you. So, to help you decide you can give me a call free of charge to talk about what's going on and how we could work together.

Shift Counselling currently offers 2 support groups:

>Bereavement support group
Loosing a loved one is extremely hard and it can take a very long time to come to terms with. It can be an isolating time in peoples lives, but you don't have to suffer alone. I understand how hard it can be and so wanted to create a space where you can share your experience and memories, or just sit quietly with a group of people supporting one another.

>Chronic pain support group
Being in pain is awful, unfortunately there are many conditions that put people in a huge amount of pain. It can be hard to get the right support and understanding from those around us who aren't going through the same thing. Pain can also be extremely isolating, not just because of the physical aspect, but because it can make people truly miserable and lonely. If you're struggling with chronic pain that just won't go away and want to feel accepted and heard, come join our support group.

I offer counselling in English, Slovak and Czech languages
