Shawn Preston Magic

My husband saw Shawn at a conference and was so blown away that he asked if we could hire Shawn for our wedding. I was admittedly skeptical at first since I had never heard of a magician being at a wedding but I quickly came around to the idea and I am so so glad we hired Shawn! Shawn was so responsive and helpful throughout the planning process and he told us that he loves doing weddings cause he goes around to groups of people that often times is their first time meeting, does a trick or two for them, and then leaves them with this shared experience to chat about oh my GOODNESS was that true! Seeing Shawn’s tricks myself, as well as watching our guests be blown away by them was one of my favorite things about our wedding day- and there were a LOT of really wonderful things that day! Shawn not only did the most mind blowing tricks (might have actually been real magic?? Haha) but he also was very funny and entertaining and was such a wonderful addition to our day! Shawn performed at our wedding rehearsal event at Chasing Rabbits in Vail and he did an INCREDIBLE job!! He is a true professional. He did close up magic and guests were raving about his tricks! I first witnessed Shawn's performance at a business conference in Colorado while attending a post-conference happy hour sponsored by one of the hosting companies. From what I have seen, his magic is a little different than what you may think of with a traditional "magic shows". There were upwards of 80-100 people at the party and he was performing trick for groups of 3-8 at a time. Needless to say, I was thoroughly captivated - enough so that I asked if he had ever performed at weddings as I had one coming up in less than 6 months. Thankfully he said yes, and within a couple of days we had booked him for our wedding. Initial conversations about what we were looking for were very straightforward and the physical process of booking him for our special day could not have been easier. A week prior to the event he reached out to confirm details which was also very helpful as it saved us time in having to reach out ourselves. The actual performance at the wedding was EXCELLENT!!! We had around 130 guests and based off what I heard everyone was able to get a trick (or several). We received several compliments after the event that his presence during cocktail hour was phenomenal. What might go overlooked is that his magic gave folks who may not have known each other previously an outlet to connect through a shared experience. Worth every penny! More...

Shawn is a real professional. From the beginning he was responsive in his communication with me. Professional, hilarious, and amazing!!! Shawn came to my classroom to perform for my students and a fellow teacher's birthday celebration. He did not disappoint. Shawn was our main event at our client appreciation dinner for 200 people. The crowd was laughing and engaged in every aspect of his show. His ability to integrate humor (clean, yet hilarious) and magic is remarkable. It kept people on their toes! He was a pleasure to work with from the very start. A few weeks ago, we had Shawn over for an after-work team building event. The environment was a pub, and we (about 25 of us) had the place almost totally to ourselves, and he just wandered the group and performed for people about 15 minutes at a time. Let's just say we're trying to think of ways to fit him in as entertainment for other work events along the way. His magic is FUN, humorous, slick, and top-notch entertainment. I hired Shawn Preston to provide entertainment to the attendees of the 2021 Annual Conference for the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography. While we typically provide a band and have more of a traditional party for the closing event of our conference, Shawn was a great mix-up for our group!
