If I Could give Sharon ten stars I would. My family does NOT enjoy getting our photo taken, but we always enjoy this experience with Sharon. She fits right in with our family and captures beautiful lifestyle moments. If she tells us to pose, it’s rare and we do it without issue because she has an artist’s eye and the end result is never awkward or “fake” looking - it’s beautiful. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret to a great photograph is having fun! That's why I like to shoot outside. Kids are so much happier running, climbing, swinging, dancing, and singing. We do it all at my sessions and the results are epic action shots, a variety of expressions that you are sure to recognize, and warm family moments that will get you through cold winter nights! :)
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I love to get to know my families before my sessions. I'll ask all kinds of questions about where you like to travel, what you do for fun, and what YOU think makes your family awesome! All of that is inspiration for location, poses, and my very best (or maybe worst?) jokes to get kids to laugh.
What do you love most about your job?
I LOVE meeting new families and seeing my returning clients again and again. I love catching up and experiencing the MAGIC of your family for myself. Sometimes I learn a good joke too.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own business in 2009 as outlet to help with my after-pregnancy blues. But since then I have so many reasons for staying in business. The #1 reason is the awesome people I've met along the way - The kid who loves penguins as much as my daughter, the girls who always have a fresh joke to tell, the awesome moms that are killing. it. every. single. day. I LOVE these people and their children. I want you to be part of this crazy crew!
