Very good Gujarati food. Service is borderline, below par. You can be kept waiting and the buffet station is not refreshed fast enough. I am writing to express a sincere gratitude to the catering staff for their professionalism in delivering and serving simply fantastic food at my daughter’s engagement party in July 2017. The food could not be faltered in any way-“consistency in quality, flavour, texture, and aroma”- trade mark of Sharmilee.The quests highly complimented on the food.
The food arrived on time, and the staffs of Sharmilee ensured the smooth running of buffet from the start till the very end. Throughout the day the food remained warm, fresh and tasty.
Having used the service of Sharmilee in the past for birthday parties on more than one occasion, I knew they would not let me down on food which was cooked and served to perfection. Their service could not be faltered in any way, and was delivered on time.
Sharmilee are not only renowned for their vegetarian speciality, but one of the best in the mithai (sweet) dishes on the Leicester Golden Mile. I have been a regular customer of Sharmilee and always found the quality of their food to be consistent. I would thoroughly recommend dining at the restaurant, as they are one of best in vegetarian. I suggest you try their lunch time buffet.
To summarise, the food/sweet from Sharmilee always has same consistent texture, aroma and taste that lingers in your mouth for some time. Having been a regular customer many years, I would definitely recommend Sharmeli restaurant to dine out and for sweets (mithai), I would rate them as the best over other mithai shops on the Golden Mile.
