What makes a great website?
There's no one thing that makes a website great, but the entire purpose of your site is to provide value to the visitor. If you want your visitors to stay on your site, you have to give them a good reason to do so. The design and appearance of your site is paramount. It must look uncluttered and inviting. Knowing exactly what you want to achieve is a necessity if the project is to be a success. Come up with your objectives and make them SMART. If you can't remember what that means, it's Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and Timely. Sometimes, the answer is easy, for example, I want a new website to promote and sell my business to be up and running within 30 days. But, more often than not, it's a bit more complicated than that.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the fact that my clients and I can see tangible results from our work together. Whether it's building a website from scratch or ongoing SEO services, tools are available to enable us to track increases in traffic to the website, improvements in search engine rankings and click through rates among other things. And the end result is an increase in revenue for both us and the client. What's not to love?
What inspired you to start your own business?
Freedom. Being your own boss, although daunting, is very liberating and you actually get paid what you're worth not just what your employers want to pay you. That, and the fact that 6 years of Clapham Junction at 8:00 in the morning was as much as I could take.

Furthermore, there are no long-term contracts with Shark Bite. There is a 3 month contract when signing up for SEO services as this is considered the minimum time it takes to see results. Once the 3 months are up, it reverts to a rolling monthly contract. All other contracts can be cancelled with 30 days' notice.
