Shannon is simply amazing. She has been doing my sisters photos for years. I live in San Diego, but reaches out to Shannon last minute due to me having a new baby to try and squeeze in a session and she accommodated quickly. I’m so appreciative.The day of the shoot she was so sweet. My oldest is autistic and she worked with him so well. She is great with kids and honestly is a newborn whisperer. I booked a newborn shoot for our fifth baby. Shannon was very accommodating (easy to reach and quick to respond) when we had to change the appointment date several times because baby decided to make his debut much later than his siblings. When we arrived at the studio, it was perfectly warm and cozy for a baby, and clean and inviting for the parents. It was nice to not have to bring any props or clothing, as she supplies them at the studio. My little guy is not a sleeper, but she was amazing at calming him down to get the shots she was hoping for, while I sat and relaxed on the other side of the studio. We have had several sessions done by Shannon. Everything from newborn, to mini sessions, to one year old pictures. She does SUCH a good job. We are always so excited to get our pictures back. She has so much patients with the kids and always seems to get the perfect shot. The studio is always VERY clean , and well prepared for anything. She has thought of it all, from a small space to keep older children/family members entertained while working with the babies, to having extra supplies (like diapers, lotion, wipes, etc.) on hand for clients to use. I never worry about how pictures are going to turn out. Getting the pictures and ordering the prints is so easy. I would recommend her to anyone. We first worked with Shannon in 2014 for our Wedding. She drove all the way out to Saline, MI for the photography - she showed up early, had a positive attitude that the guests loved, and was a pleasure to work with! We loved working with her so much that now 4 years later we decided to get our baby's pictures taken by her! She has a beautiful little studio with lots of props to use, and she clearly knows what she's doing when it comes to taking baby pics. Also, she is very quick to get the pictures edited and back to you. I have heard of photographers that can take months, but with Shannon it's a matter of weeks or less, plus she offers a large amount of options to get professional prints of the pictures. Edit- Two and a half years later and we have done half a dozen more shoots. Shannon is truly an artist. I plan on using her as much as possible to capture these memories. The pictures that we get back are unreal, she's the best!Shannon went above and beyond all of my hopes when I had my daughters 1 year pictures done. I live in Iowa and was looking for a photographer for my destination wedding in Arizona. After searching online for weeks and not feeling comfortable with my options, my sister suggested Shannon. Shannon shot our wedding a few weeks ago and went well above and beyond the call of duty. She fixed my wedding dress with out even batting an eye when we discovered the top clasp was missing. Our wedding day was over 90 degrees out and she even purchased a small fan to put near my dress to stay cool during pictures.
