I had been thinking about doing a boudoir shoot for a long time after having my daughter and going through some body changes I wanted to feel comfortable again in my own skin. A boudoir shoot was something I always wanted to do as a gift for my husband and myself. After meeting Shannon at a party , she reassured me it's all in the poses and way she takes the pictures. I immediately felt comfortable with her to go ahead with it.
Well let me say this, it exceeded my expectations, her eye for detail is awesome. She gave me confidence that I forgot I had. At first I was worried that I wouldn't be able to capture the look I wanted and with having some body issues in certain areas I didn't want shown, Shannon knew exactly how to make me pose. Shannon did our engagement pictures and they came out beyond amazing. She did an amazing job and was amazing to work with. She listened and was able to turn my dream pictures i wanted with my family into a reality. She was amazing and patient with my 10 month old son.

Shannon Ryan is great at what she does we love our photos and can't wait to have her come to our new home to get great pics. . Shannon did fantastic with my son and his portraits she made me feel very comfortable. She was patient with my son and made it feel like fun with my baby not just pictures I absolutely love my photos she did a fantastic job I would recommend her to any of my friends she had ideas for photos stances and usually its basically the same with every photographer she takes passion in what she does and that is what makes her such a good photographer

Shannon took my son's 18 month pictures and we couldn't be happier! My son is not very easy to photograph as he does not stay still for long at all. Shannon was so patient with him and even took pictures as he ran around! She got some perfect shots! We also ordered our pictures through her for our wall collage. The color and quality of the prints are outstanding!! I highly recommend Shannon if you are looking for an amazing photographer! We will definitely be be using her again the next time she visits Michigan!! More...

OK, I'll say it... I'm a pain in the butt... especially about pictures- I'm highly critical of myself in photos, so I'm happy to be able to say that I LOVE MY FINAL HEADSHOTS. When I received the first drafts I was not thrilled with what I saw (not Shannon's problem, my own issues) but the lovely and patient Shannon told me not to worry, that they still needed to be edited and helped me to narrow it down to a few good ones for the final edit..... Guess what, she was right... They turned out awesome!! Thanks again Shannon! I appreciate you squeezing me in and then rushing my pics to make my deadline!! You're the Best! I recently did a boudoir photo shoot with Shannon and I am in love! I decided to do the shoot as a Valentine's Day gift for my new husband. I lost 45 pounds before my wedding and I have shed a few more since. Feeling much more confident in my skin, I decided, why not do something way out of my comfort zone! I am so glad that I chose Shannon to do this shoot with. From the second I met her, I felt comfortable and confident. She made me feel very at ease the entire shoot She empowered me and I felt fierce! I absolutely love my photos and had a hard time limiting my selections for my album. Shannon was absolutely amazing! She did my husband and mines wedding this past weekend and she went above and beyond for us. We dealt with not the greatest weather during the wedding and she made sure once we had the opportunity to avoid the rain she took as many pictures as possible for us. Shannon created a pinterest board for me where her and I could post different poses we liked. The day of the wedding she had the board open to make sure she didn't miss any of the poses I wanted! My guests keep asking about my photographer and can't wait to tell their friends all about her. I have only seen three pictures so far from her and I am IN LOVE with them. Amazing! Within 10 minutes of my boudoir photo shoot with Shannon and I felt like we were already good friends. She gives great direction so you don't feel pressured to "act sexy". Because we all know when you try too hard, it's not sexy. Shannon really made things fun. We laughed and joked the whole time. Not only that but she helped me out big time as it was a very last-minute decision for me to do this for my night-of wedding gift to my future husband. I got the mini album and the phone app. The album is stunning and perfect size for my fiance to stash with him when he travels. The app is even more awesome because I plan on sending him a new photo every month after our wedding...just additional teasers! Thank you SO much Shannon - I'm almost addicted.
