Such a beautiful setting. Walked the grounds of the estate today with my family and popped backed into Shannigans Bistro for food, top marks to the Chef and waiting staff. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough. Stayed for two nights with my daughters. Unfortunately my daughter was ill and we had to make a trip to Limerick hospital. The hotel staff were so accommodating. When we got back from the hospital in the early hours all our beds were made and two lovely teddies left for my daughters. One of my daughters is autistic and found being away from home hard. The hotel staff couldn't of been more helpful and put us at ease throughout our stay. Thank yo all so much for everything you did for us. Also we got a taxi Patrick Corry who brought us to the hospital. We can't thank him enough for his understanding of our situation. He got us to the out of hours doctor and waited to see how we got on and brought us across to the hospital. would 10000% recommend for the staff alone! we were meant to stay from the 11th - 13th of this month unfortunately during our stay our little boy got quiet sick! from the receptionist to the night porters they could not do enough for us to make sure our boy got seen by Shannon Doc & was brought to limerick hospital ASAP they went over and beyond for us & that was a massive bonus! We are just home from a 2 night break with our 3 kids. We really enjoyed it. We had an issue with another guest but the staff were so apologetic and looked after us well. It was completely not the hotels fault The rooms were spotless and we ate in both the bar and restaurant and the food was incredible. Kids loved the pool, the play inn, the playground and the mini golf. We will be returning again next year. More...
