Having to see a counselor is hard enough.  But my therapist is the right fit.  She is straight forward and doesn't pull any punches.  If you need counseling services. I would recommend Tree of Life.  She makes sure that everything is on the table and makes sure there is a goal or homework to be accomplished prior to next session.  And if it isn't we discuss why and a solution to accomplishing that assignment.  I've never been more excited to see a counselor.  It's one of the few things I look forward to every   As I have continued with this office and with my particular therapist, I have grown and changed in my own life.  I have never had a better therapist and an office where if I needed something I had the support of the front office staff as well as other therapists in momentary conversation.  This is a very caring and welcoming place.  And this would be someplace that people should seek out if they need counseling, which unfortunately most people don't admit they need. As the season of reflection and gratitude for gifts comes around, I find myself amazed that Tree of Life has been a part of our lives for more than 3 years now. I am happy where I am in my career, in my relationship, and in my life. I am so thankful for the support my husband and I have received from our therapist, Will Krause. He has consistently offered insights that are both relevant and unbiased between my husband and I. He has offered real life strategies for dealing with work stress, health issues, and family drama. I truly believe I'm in the very best of places when with my therapist here at Tree of life . I've been to a few different places over my life and have yet to receive the level of comfort and care that I feel on both my way in and on my way out . Tree of Life Counseling gives the best services there are around for the Trans community. They offer a wide variety in speciality in other mental health issues. Being in the community myself, has made it easier to refer others to her for a vast variety of services. These services are community oriented in being a close knit family of professionals that want to help. Myself, as president of the organization above would recommend this practice to anybody. You are always welcomed when you are there and the atmosphere is very peaceful and wholesome. Do people not think when giving a reviews  I'm not sure how social media and medical companies work, but it's probably not the best idea for your relationship to plaster on social media the fact that you're partner is getting treatment anywhere. It sounds like someone's anger is misplaced. So if this place didn't work out for you, it's probably a good idea for you to get help. I have went to TLC both individually and as a couple. This is hands down the best place to receive help and guidance! I do believe that some people just don't mesh with other's so the negative reviews regarding individual counselors is crazy to me. If one person doesn't meet your needs, they have tons of others to choose from! Tayler and David are great! My only "complaint" is that they (the admin office staff) are nearly impossible to reach. I never get to speak to someone when I call because they do not answer their phones. I have chosen to email instead, which is slightly an inconvenience when you want/need an answer right then, because it still takes a couple days to get a response. However, you also have to remember that just because your counselor is seeing you at 6 or 7 PM, the office itself is not open. Overall, I love this place and have had great experiences! More...

I always hated therapy growing up. I never trusted anyone or felt comfortable talking until I met dawn here. Shes awesome, she listens to me and works with me as well as giving me great advice. Sometimes it helps to just let it all out and have a 3rd unbiased party listen and give input and that's exactly what she let's me do as well as recommended great people to see and further help with the things she cannot. This place is a Godsend, and especially David. My son has been to multiple counselors over the years, some of them that I took him to, and then as he got older there were ones he chose himself, but none of them helped. Then a friend recommended David to him, and said that David had changed her life, so he agreed to give counseling one more try. I'm so glad he did!! He is like a new person (a happy person!) after 8 months of counseling with David, and I just can't praise this place, and David, enough!! If you're at your wits end muster up the courage to give it one more try and call this place and ask to see David. I think you'll be glad you did! More...

There are not enough positive words to adequately describe Tree of Life Counseling. I have been seeing Joan for several months now and have had a truly wonderful experience. The front desk staff are incredibly kind and helpful and if you're a regular they remember who you are! The atmosphere and waiting room are very homey and cozy, doesn't feel sterile at all like most counseling offices. They have a little coffee bar with cute mugs, comfortable couches and chairs, and beautiful decor. You just really feel at home while there. This place is amazing.Myself & my family visit on a weekly basis and I cannot put into words the ways they have helped us heal & grow.
